Exploring the Upcoming Release of Conclave Arcana!

Splinterlands is releasing a new set and people is exited again, prices are going up with the pre sale not even starter yet, the new set is coming pretty soon, on April 22nd is going to be the pre-sale and on May 13th will be the General sell and when player can star to open their packs.

Conclave Arcana is adding lots of new things like:

New types of Packs: Starter Packs, Alchemy Packs, Legendary Packs and the normal ones Standard Packs.

New Foils: Black Foil, Gold Foil Arcane and Black Foil Arcane.

New abilities: 9 new abilities:

Painforge: +1 power when damaged by Poisoned or Burning or hit by an ally.

Reckless: Each successful attack also deals 1 damage to adjacent allied units.

Bloodline Tribute: When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed, and armor and +1 power to each shared attack type.

Resurgence: Self-resurrects once per battle with 100% health and armor. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied. Skips turn. Deals 1 physical damage to all units.

Shapeshift: Treated as all bloodlines.

Final Rest: Allied and enemy abilities that trigger on defeat cannot activate.

Reveal: Each round applies Revealed to a Camouflaged enemy unit. Revealed units can be targeted by direct attacks.

Relentless Strike: Attacks deal true damage. Phase and Dodge do not reduce chance to hit.

Bloodline Dominion: You can summon any unit of the same bloodline as this archon, regardless of element.

New Archons and Bloodline!

Summoners now will be called Archons and the new ones will come with the biggest synergies ever and more room for different strategies with the new Bloodline Dominion ability that allow to summon any unit of the same bloodline as this archon, regardless of element. It also will provided certain bonus to all the units that share the Bloodline.

What I am most excited about with the release of Conclave Arcana?

Gameplay:

The Bloodlines: now the units will have types and will be synergy between them, not sure if I will buy but if I do I will go looking for units of the same type with their Summoner(now they will be called Archons), sound very exited owning 1 or 2 decks of the set, could be just owned commons and rares cards that are expected to be quite cheap and rent epic and legendary ones from time time as they are expected to be quite expensive to buy or just rent all, checking all the cards and thinking that this team seams pretty strong and solid, oh but it get countered by this others lets rent another splinter that can beat that one that is countered my favorite one, with this new synergies things will be pretty interesting.

Tokenomics:

Already talk of this a little On game changes but yes some of this changes may make things going up and that things will make others to going up as well, I mainly excited for the SPS is already increasing in price without even the pre-sell started and is expected to increases during it and the general sell if they go well, I make a post about it with reasons why it could increases in prices also reasons why it may not increases too much: https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@caimanx/splinterlands-is-sps-price-going

Format changes:

The rotation of Chaos Legion to Wild will be huge, lots of things are going to change , lots of prices are going to go down some others will go up , most of my cards are from Chaos Legion though this is quite scary , it is still excited to see what will happen maybe most players goes to wild, maybe the rebellion set spike in price and this increases motive players to buy more on the new set and this will give value to most things specially to the main tokens.

Teasers I am hoping to see

I really hoping to see the cards, hope they showed out most of the cards before general sell, this will be a good marketing strategy as it will incentive people to buy more packs on pre-sale, on the past sets we only get a few of the cards showed and them all of them are putting on the test server and we see all of them on the same day, it will be a lot more exciting if most cards are showed before this, like every 2 or 3 days the team show as 4 or six cards.

How do I think this set will impact my personal strategy?

I may going for 1 or 2 of the new summoners and a limited amount of monsters of the type that this summoner boost, more likely going to aim mostly for Common and Rare if they are quite cheap, even if I decided to play on Wild may get some of this cards if they have big synergies with cards I already have, it will depends of a lots of factor if I decided to buy some cards to maxed them out, like the price, but I will definitely rent some teams to test them out.
