The Stranger And Mercy (#53)
The stranger smiled and said, “You don’t recognize me yet, but you will yesterday.”
The stranger smiled and said, “You don’t recognize me yet, but you will yesterday.” As if that was not enough, the stranger showed her a picture they had taken together while at the stadium yesterday.

Geralt
Mercy was lost in thought, so deep that it took the hunk of the passing vehicle to bring her back to reality. But the stranger did not stop there, still trying to make Mercy recognise him, he removed the mask from his face, and she shouted with surprise, David! What are you doing here?
David was her secondary school classmate. They lost contact after they graduated from school. Seeing him again after a decade was exactly what Mercy needed to forget about the pain of the cut she had while cooking early that morning.
She happily took him to a nearby lounge where they had a good time together, exchanged contact information, and bid each other farewell.
