I completely agree with your submission. Lies are very detrimental to true friendship. We ought to know how to manage situations rather than cover with lies. A single lie needs more than six more lies to continue to cover up. But a simple truth keeps everyone going and seamless. Lies should not be commonised when we talk about true friendship. If we build our friendship on lies, how would the foundation stand?
