Merchant of Death- The Major Generals Warning(@mariannewest's Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 2906)

That fateful morning, the parade was going on swiftly. The training ground was filled with shouts from different corners of the field, showcasing strength and vigour. Without anybody envisaging such a surprise, alarms started ringing. There was commotion and confusion, as such had never happened before. Worst still, the alarm tone signifies danger.

There followed a voice inviting all the colonels to gather at the boardroom for a critical brief. The training was abruptly stopped while the colonels marched like they were on a battlefield to the boardroom
At the briefing, stood the major general, tall, wearing a stern look with a white paper. Without much ado dished out his piece of warning.

Fellow colonels,

We have received daunting signals indicating an undercover with a merchant of death
While the target isn’t clear, we are deploying all arsenals to decode and uncover the monsters in tango with these merchants of death.
We have put all signals on alert with tracking and the scorpion cops to unravel these merchants of death.
Stay clear of such scorpions, I repeat, stay clear. Defaulters will face court-martial or immediate dismissal.
