Are Ghosts Used To Fake Identities?

Hello #scifimultiverse, Thank God it's Friday. I hope you all are good, and I welcome you to my view of the week's edition 1 prompt.
Ghost may mean different things to us. I used to hear about ghost workers in my country of origin. Lol, though those termed as ghost workers are also found in company registers without presently being functional, but at the end of every month, they receive salaries. Huh, wonders shall never end.

I also know about another type of ghost: those we hear about in tales and fiction, and even sometimes in the real world, where someone will say that a particular man or woman selling something or living around them disappeared because someone who knew he had died some years ago met him. When I was in high school, I went to school one day and coming back, I saw some people gather around the entrance of my street, when I enquired to know what happened, they said the man that sells groundnut in front of our street disappeared because someone met him and recognised him as a long time dead relative, immediately, he disappeared with all his groundnut. I was afraid because we have been good customers of this man.

Third, we are witnesses of the horror films where ghosts form a swam of army to attack, destroy, or even cause chaos. Often, after watching those films, we are left with terrified dreams while we sleep.
A man once nearly ran nuts because he was terrified by the movement of his hanged suits at a particular set time. (12 am to 5 am). His last resort was to call his friend to confirm the incident because he was already complaining that the compound is mystical, not knowing that he was the architect of his own pain. He opens a side of his window at around 11 am every day before he sleeps, and at about 12 am breeze from the same window will be moving his hanging suit, which is directly opposite the window. The movement also ends at about 5 am when he wakes up to start preparing for work. This made him believe that Ghosts were visiting him.
He called his friend to witness the event while hes fast tracking moving house. When the friend came and observed the issue. He simply moved the hung suit into his wardrobe, and that ended his fears and assumptions of visiting Ghosts.

Furthermore, I do not believe in Ghosts but some peoples experience has proved that something about dead people visiting the living might really be true. This was because I truly wished to see my late parents even as ghosts; unfortunately, they have remained dead and not ghosts. Most times, I see ghosts in horror films, and I do not wish to meet them because the experience is not pleasant.
Though sometimes, while alone in the house, electronics will be off, and without power, they will be making some silly sounds that will make one wonder if there are ghosts around. Lol Sometimes, out of fear and assumptions, when I feel like something is moving around me or around, I will start making noise to distract myself from that thought and bounce back to normal life.
In conclusion, the existence of ghosts does not really add much to my life; therefore, I wouldn’t want such interactions with something that does not impact me positively.
