RE: What You Search Is What You Will Find... .:. WorkerBee PH-Pool Week 222

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

You focused your HIVE energy on people who care about your content and those you care about, you met some awesome people thanks to that... The glass is half-full!

That's a good reminder. Hive is such a complex ecosystem even when you're here long enough and it all depends on how we certainly see things.

When you step back, somehow you find that "innocence" again and freedom that this place offers. I think it's by nature that the longer we are here, we can be too invested into the "politics of hive",the comparison, the wondering whether it's all worth it even the unfairness that this place actually has.

I recently found when I disconnected from all the noise, it feels so liberating. I found the why I was here and no longer find it exhausting to log in and logout.Maybe I grew out of the thing I have built, I don't know but you made a very powerful reminder above.

Let's be honest here... Despite not having written posts, you probably know a lot about HIVE... We have different people here, from different parts of the world, with different views, goals, etc.

When you step back, somehow you find that "innocence" again and freedom that this place offers.

I wasn't talking about stepping back (while that has its good sides too), but rather about getting into the "group" where you are useful, where you have friends, where it makes sense to help out and grow each other... We will never had the SAME opinions and views about the future of HIVE, but that's completely normal... That's how it should be... I can't be a good friend with everyone here, and to expect to be upvoted and supported by everyone...

But, I can make a change in my surroundings, where I like to be, with people that I value and appreciate... And by doing that, I will help the chain too!!! If everyone does that, we would have hundreds (or thousands) of communities doing good stuff for them, but growing the whole chain too... Even if they don't "communicate" with each other! How awesome is that?

Is that the definition of decentralization? 😃

Being in the group where you are valued certainly makes a huge difference. It's probably helping with retention too cause we simpy like to hangout with the people we're with. The same people knows your story etc and when things happen they're the one stepping up too. It's what I like about this place, sometimes you just need a good reminder that despite all the toxicity and drama, those thing exist.

And yeah, that's basically the essence of decentralization. You don't really have to agree with each other but at least still have a common goal and works toward it.
