Portraits on the Bus

Hello dear Black and White community,

Lately, I’ve been focusing on photographing people in public transportation. I’m trying to gather as many portraits as possible, because I feel it’s a way of capturing a wide range of expressions.

Most of them reflect stress, boredom… it’s rare to find someone truly happy there. Everyone seems in a rush, anxious about time, uncomfortable, tired from standing more than an hour, or looking for a seat. And when someone finally finds one, a senior passenger steps in and they have to give it up again.

It’s really a world of emotions, and I want to build a project about this.
Here I share a few of the people I captured on my ride, and I’ll keep posting more in the next days.

Retratos en el Bus

Hola querida comunidad en Blanco y Negro,

Últimamente me he enfocado en retratar a las personas en los medios de transporte. Estoy tratando de juntar la mayor cantidad de retratos posibles, siento que es una forma de rescatar muchas expresiones.

La mayoría son de estrés, aburrimiento… es difícil encontrar alguien contento en ellos. Todos apurados, angustiados por la hora, incómodos, cansados por tener más de una hora en pie, o buscando dónde sentarse. El que logra sentarse y sube una persona mayor, tiene que volver a ceder el asiento.

Es un mundo de emociones y estoy buscando armar un proyecto sobre eso.

Acá les dejo algunas de las personas que rescaté en mi viaje y así iré compartiendo más en el transcurso de los días.
