we did create a keystore file. And we saved it and we get an error. Public key doesn‘t match

probably the keystore file works fine. We have not tested. User gave up and I am on my way home.

There is Public posting key and private posting key.. make sure you use the private posting key
Did the whole process of creation went smoothly? Was there any moment where you had to refresh or 2 files were downloaded?
With the first account I don't know. The second account probably did not even get created. After 5 minutes of waiting he refreshed the page and tried to sign in with his keystore that he created. Not sure what happened.

If it got stuck in the screen with the little game, it was not created. So that username should be still available
That is so weird since we downloaded a keystore json file. Well we will know eventually when I meet the person again. Or they do their own efforts. All in all the onboarding experience should be more seemless and easy.
Yeah... but its finalized only after blockchain confirmation. Without that the Hive account is not created.
Could be the browser. I found I only get issues when the person uses browsers that are not chrome

The first account ruppinger he downloaded the keys but if we try to import them into keychain or use leoauth as a sign in option it drops the error message that the keys are not matching.
Maybe we can recover that somehow. I really would like to have a happy end to this story.
This account you can see if it was created? You could confirm the keys checking the public keys
