There will be a significant changes in the country development if the Private industries take over from the Government

Companies owned by private investors are often better than the government because they take good care of their investment, unlike the government sector, where selfishness and greed are driven from the top to the bottom.

The government is not offering free service, all that they do for the country is gotten from the taxes from the citizens and resources of the country and they use only 10 percent to build while the remaining 90 percent goes to their pocket.

They can budget 50 billion Naira for a project. Those in charge of the money would have taken a cut of 20 billion before they pass the fund to the next person, who would also take a cut before it gets to the person that will contact the contractor who would also take his own cut and by the time the money gets to the people that want to do the project, half of it is gone. Workers would also like to profit and in the end, they end up using fake materials and that is why most time we end up with bad infrastructure from the government, they will build a road. Within a few years, you will start seeing potholes, they also have so many uncompleted projects.

We will have better infrastructure if the private industry takes over the road business but it is not ideal because they can't do it for free and the road is not something they can monetize, how will they do it? They can't start asking people to pay money for using their road, it is possible to tax commercial vehicles the same way the Agbero do but how will they tax private car owners, that won't work. The government must provide good roads but they are doing a bad job even though they can do better if they want to.

The government does less when it comes to providing water to the citizens, the last time I heard about a government tap water was 11 years ago and that was when I visited Ogun state, it was a local area with old houses, and the only water available was the tap water done by the government and it only runs twice in a week, So people in the community go far distance to get water when they need it, it was not easy for me there at all and these are places where we need private water companies more, at least there won't be lack of water for the people, this is very common in most part of Lagos.

The government is not reliable with infrastructures, they can't provide enough like the private industries and there would be scarcity in schools, roads, hospitals, and others without the private industries, they are the ones keeping the country afloat, not the government, all the government do is loot our resources.

There will be a significant development in the country if we stop paying taxes to the government and the private industries figure out how to tax us instead, cos most of the funds collected as tax are just being shared by those ruling us, they do not want the best for their citizens.
