Everyone needs a good listener as a friend, they are very useful to share our problems with when we are sad, and one thing I love about them, their unique quality is that they are also secret keepers... Whatever you share with them in confidence never leaks, your secrets are safe with them, and even when you stop being friends, they won't use it against you.

I was once told by someone that I am a good listener. Before that time, it never crossed my mind, but when she said it, I realized she had said nothing but the truth... I love listening to sad stories, not because of anything else but because I learn from them. I would rather learn from other experiences than be a victim of such circumstances

I love it when people share their life experiences with me, their love life, and their regrets. It increases my wisdom... If it is not love or financial talks, I get bored easily cos there is nothing to learn from gossip.

Anyone can be a talker, but to be a listener is a quality many lack... At first, you will love the good talkers; they are friendly, always have something to say, but with time, you may get bored with them. A good listener is someone you may find boring at first, but when the mind and heart connect, you will cherish them more.

I won't say I have many people who listened to me because I am not a talker, I prefer texting to talking cos it drains my energy, but the thing is, no matter what, everyone has someone they talk to when they are down or when they feel like expressing themselves...

I have my siblings, partner, and a few friends I talk to, and they always give me listening ears. Being someone who loves to deal with his problems alone, it is very rare to see me discussing matters of the heart unless it has become overwhelming for me to bottle it in...

One of such occasions happened a few years ago when Btc crashed and I and some friends lost a huge amount of money, I found myself in a friend's Dm who was also a victim of the crash, We talked but it was not just mere talks, it was deep conversations and even though we both talked, we also both listened to each other cos no one else can understand how we feel at that moment better than us.
