People very close to you may not want to help you because they do not want you to be bigger than them, you have a higher chance of making it in life through a stranger who knows nothing or less about you, so never stop socializing and connecting with others, cos that opportunity that will push you to a greater height might come from someone you least expected it from.
When I remember how I tried blocking my helpers, it usually sounds funny to me now, just as if village people were in control, cos I remember most of those who contributed a great deal to my success, we started the relationship with a fight, and I try my possible best in cutting them off. Still, suppose God says this is the person He sent to help you, no matter how bad your attitude is. In that case, the person won't leave till they have done their part in your life which is why I am emphasizing the quote again that your destiny helper won't stress you and you can try to push them away but they will do what they are sent to do in your life. if it is not working the way you want, it is not just your time.
Another great lesson I learned in life is that the connections you make will help you a great deal in life, it would open some great doors you cannot open on your own, some people make friends with only selected people who are greater than them, and ignore the average ones or those below them, but they forgot that those people are well connected, they know rich people and are closer to them than you think, they may not be able to render the services the rich needs and you that can offer the service do not have access to those rich people and to get to them, you need their help.
There was a time I got a dm and the person was like his friend messaged him that someone was looking for who can do a job for him and the only person she could think of at that particular time was me, and since she was closer to the person who dm me, she sent him to me and that was how I secured the job, now you see the chains? I got the job through someone who knows the person I know.
Now Imagine If I had a bad character and behaved badly to the source of the information, she would rather say she doesn't know and let it go but instead, she went through the stress of communicating with someone who knows me and if also I have a misunderstanding with the person who dm me, that could have also made me lose the opportunity, so another lesson I learned is we should be good and polite to everyone cos we never know where our help will come from.

I’ve actually fallen victim to not making the right connections but I learnt my lesson the hard way. Now, I make sure to network with others anywhere I find my self just for tomorrows sake.
