The chicken dung plant is a type of plant that originates from West Africa. This plant is known for its fruit which has the magical property of changing sour taste to sweet. Chicken dung fruit is often referred to as the "miracle berry" or "miracle fruit" because of this ability.

Chicken dung fruit is shaped like a small red or purplish red berry. The taste itself is not too sweet, but when eaten and the flesh is chewed, a substance called miraculin will appear which can cover the sour or bitter taste on the tongue. So, after consuming bitter chicken dung it tastes like a hive friend.
