Reporte Splinterlands Marzo: Avances en mis cartas Foundations, Balance Brawls y apertura de Gladius Cases [Esp/Eng]
Hola apreciada comunidad de Hive NFTgame Latino y Splinterlands, ya estamos a pocos días del EoS de esta primera quincena de marzo y vaya que las cosas se han puesto bastante interesantes con la llegada del mini set Escalation! Estas nuevas certa me han permitido llegar más lejos que la temporada pasada, por lo que el potencial de estas cartas es bastante alto! Sin embargo, estoy fortaleciendo mi mazo moderno con la colección de cartas Foundations, estas cartas son sin duda un respaldo para diversificar estrategias y una manera excelente manera de introducir a nuevos jugadores en el formato moderno. En este contexto, procuro completar mis batallas diarias en la liga de oro para abrir los 3 Foundations packs del día, aún tengo cartas que llevar al máximo nivel, siendo mi escollo más difícil, el arconte de fuego que sigue en nivel 3.
Hello, esteemed Hive NFTgame Latino and Splinterlands community! We're just a few days away from the first half of March's EoS, and things have gotten quite interesting with the arrival of the Escalation mini-set! These new cards have allowed me to go further than last season, so their potential is quite high! However, I'm strengthening my Modern deck with the Foundations card set. These cards are undoubtedly a great way to diversify strategies and an excellent way to introduce new players to the Modern format. In this context, I try to complete my daily battles in the gold league to open the 3 Foundations packs of the day; I still have cards to take to the maximum level, my most difficult obstacle being the fire archon that is still at level 3.
No he tenido suerte la semana pasada en la lotería de los lunes, pero al menos fui bendecido con este jackpot de la carta Aimee Whisperwind, ya esta es la segunda copia y aunque no le he conseguido una utilidad en Frontier, pero si en el formato moderno. No es una carta tan poderosa como el legendario Deep Lurker pero siempre se agradece una nueva carta oportunista para la clase agua.
I wasn't lucky last week in the Monday lottery, but at least I was blessed with this Aimee Whisperwind jackpot. This is my second copy, and although I haven't found a use for it in Frontier, I have in Modern. It's not as powerful a card as the legendary Deep Lurker, but a new opportunistic card for the Water class is always welcome.

But getting back to Frontier and the Foundation Packs, I hardly played in this mode last week because I was busy testing the new Escalation cards in Modern. However, I quickly resumed my daily Foundation Pack routine over the weekend and have collected up to 21 packs, which gave me some good legendary cards and many other common and rare cards that have allowed me to level up some of them. Below I show you the contents of those packs.

Comencemos por las cartas legendarias, fuimos afortunados porque Mystic Scaleweaver me ha costado mucho conseguirla, de hecho tuve que comprar la tercera copia de esa carta para llevarlo a nivel 2 y ser competitivo en Oro I. Con esta copia la ofertaré cuando este escasa para ofertarla a un mejor precio del que esta ahora. La segunda carta es Giam Root, esta carta ya la tenemos al máximo nivel porque la conseguimos GF, entonces me faltaría una copia regular más y poder tenerla a nivel 2 RF, vendería la dorada que actualente esta en los 3,5$ y así comprar más cartas Escalation. Veremos a continuación las cartas que pudimos subir de nivel.
Let's start with the legendary cards. We were lucky because Mystic Scaleweaver was really hard to get; in fact, I had to buy my third copy to get it to level 2 and be competitive in Gold 1. I'll offer this copy when it's scarce to get a better price than it is now. The second card is Giam Root. We already have this card at the maximum level because we got it in Gold GF, so I just need one more regular copy to get it to level 2 RF. I'd sell the gold one, which is currently going for $3.50, and use the money to buy more Escalation cards. Next, we'll see which cards we were able to level up.
Sherringham Logger lvl 4
Sherringham Logger es una de mis opciones favoritas en batallas con un límite de mana de 27, ahora en máximo nivel gana un punto extra de defensa pero para ser una carta que ataca la última posición me parece demasiado el requerimiento de mana que pide, ese es su unico contra, pero puede ser útil en batallas de 35 o más de mana para ubicarlo en la última posición y cubrir la retaguardia de ataques.
Sherringham Logger is one of my favorite options in battles with a mana limit of 27. Now at maximum level it gains an extra point of defense, but for a card that attacks the back position, the mana requirement seems excessive to me; that's its only drawback. However, it can be useful in battles of 35 or more mana to place it in the back position and cover the rear from attacks.
Moros Malik lvl 4
Pensé que tardaría mucho más tiempo en llevar a Moros Malik al máximo nivel, esta carta me gusta porque este personaje aparece en el tutoral y aunque es injusto que no tenga habilidades que lo hagan destacar más, no negaré que una carta rango con la habilidad oportunista es una gran incorporación y más ahora que hace 2 de daño.
I thought it would take much longer to max out Moros Malik. I like this card because this character appears in the tutorial, and although it's unfair that it doesn't have abilities that make it stand out more, I won't deny that a ranged card with the Opportunistic ability is a great addition, especially now that it deals 2 damage.
New Beluroc Aegis & Grand Consul Minion lvl 5
Luego tenemos estas 2 cartas neutras comunes: New Beluroc Aegis & Grand Consul Minion, la primera es una carta señuelo que es de gran utilidad en batallas que no incluya unidades mágicas, mientras que la segunda es una carta interesante por su gran velocidad suele ser una carta con una alta tasa de evasión cuando alcanza 4 de velocidad en su máximo nivel, esta carta suelo usarla más en Frontier que en modern ya que hay mejores opciones en los sets Conclave Arcana core/rewards.
Then we have these two common neutral cards: New Beluroc Aegis & Grand Consul Minion. The first is a decoy card that is very useful in battles that do not include magic units, while the second is an interesting card because of its high speed; it usually has a high evasion rate when it reaches 4 speed at its maximum level. I tend to use this card more in Frontier than in Modern since there are better options in the Conclave Arcana core/rewards sets.

Justo hoy terminamos un ciclo más de Brawls, y aunque ganamos 5 de 7 batallas no fue suficiente para asegurar el 4to lugar. Pero tenemos suficientes méritos como para comprar 4 gladius cases.
Just today we finished another Brawls cycle, and although we won 5 out of 7 battles, it wasn't enough to secure 4th place. But we have enough merit to buy 4 Gladius Cases.
Con 7 cartas gladiadoras raras, ya tenemos las copias suficientes para upgradear un par de cartas, la épica que obtuvimos fue Trapp Falloway que en una apertura anterior de Gladius cases la llevamos a nivel 5. Veamos entonces cuales cartas logramos subir de nivel.
With 7 rare Gladiator cards, we now have enough copies to upgrade a couple of cards. The epic we got was Trapp Falloway, which we upgraded to level 5 in a previous Gladius Case opening. Let's see which cards we managed to level up.
La primera de ella es Liza Fox una poderosa Gladiadora de ataque rango capaz de aturdir su objetivo pero que en nivel 7 puede suprimir el daño mágico enemigo en -1. Ya con esta carta sumamos 2 gladiadoras raras en nivel 7 que casualmente son de la clase muerte, esta es la primera de las cartas gladiadoras raras que quiero llevar a nivel 7, la segunda es Ajax Lightfoot que adquiere la habilidad phase y puede evadir los ataques mágicos. Estas cartas la podríamos jugar con ellas en la liga de oro a nivel 7 si tenemos un arconte lvl 5, esa es la razón por la que estoy tan interesado en llevar estas 2 cartas raras a nivel 7.
The first is Liza Fox, a powerful ranged Gladiator capable of stunning her target, but at level 7 she can also reduce enemy magic damage by -1. With this card, we now have two rare Gladiators at level 7, both of which happen to be Death-class. This is the first of the rare Gladiator cards I want to get to level 7. The second is Ajax Lightfoot, who gains the Phase ability and can evade magic attacks. We could play these cards in the Gold League at level 7 if we have a level 5 Archon, which is why I'm so interested in getting these two rare cards to level 7.
Si evaluamos el total de nuestras cartas gladiadoras raras, casi todas están sobre el nivel 6 a excepción de Cutter Brieze que es la única que mantenemos en nivel 5, aunque no por mucho tiempo ya que me faltan 9 copias para tenerla lvl 6 y así completar mis cartas raras al tope de la liga de oro.
If we evaluate the total of our rare gladiator cards, almost all of them are above level 6 except for Cutter Brieze which is the only one we keep at level 5, although not for long since I am missing 9 copies to have it level 6 and thus complete my rare cards to the top of the gold league.
