Opening my first 100 Rising Star Packs in 2026 and getting my band ready to continue the adventure on the County Tour! [Eng/Esp]
Hello fellow Buskerians of Rising Star! Continuing with our end-of-year promises, we're back with our second consecutive week dedicated to our band. Last week's post was dedicated to a legendary card that was a real surprise for me: Timmy Papyrus. The story I wrote about this card came from the heart, and I'll leave the opening of the packs I'd bought for another time. But that was just one of the many things I had on my to-do list! Among them was taking a break from the County Tour missions to get my alarmingly high ego down.

El post de la semana pasada se lo dedicamos a una carta legendaria que fue una verdadera sorpresa para mi: Timmy Papyrus, el relato que le dediqué a esta carta salió del corazón y dejé para otra ocasión la apertura de packs que había comprado. Pero eso solo fue una parte de las tantas cosas que tenía pendientes! Entre ellas hacer una pausa en las misiones de Couty Tour para dedicarme a bajar ese ego que estaba alarmantemente alto.

By the end of the year, I decided to stop all missions to focus solely on piano lessons, the instrument I'm specializing in. After just two weeks of 2026 dedicated to these lessons, we've managed to lower my ego from almost 35% to 2.6%. This isn't easy, as these missions cost Starpro to start (0.0005 Starpro). I was prepared for this expense, so since the beginning of 2025, the price of Starpro was low, and I was able to buy 0.1 Starpro, which I saved specifically for this moment.

So, now that we're so close to bringing our ego to zero, I decided this was the perfect time to open those 100 Rising Star packs and try my luck with a potential legendary card to strengthen our deck and give our warband more prestige.

We weren't lucky enough to get any legendary cards, and we already had a large number of the rare solo artists. The exceptions were Virtue and Billy, of which I only have two copies. These cards are selling for a very good price. If I manage to get more copies in a future pack opening, I'll put them up for sale. We also got a lot of The Grunge cards; I was looking for this card back in December, and I found up to six copies in these packs. I'll put them up for sale to see if any of them sell.
No tuvimos suerte de alguna carta legendaria y la mayoría de los solistas raros ya los teníamos en gran cantidad, las excepciones aquí fueron Virtue y Billy de los cuales apenas tengo 2 copias, son cartas que están vendiéndose a muy buen precio. Si llego a conseguir más copias en una próxima apertura de packs los pondré a la venta. También obtuvimos gran cantidad de cartas de The Grunge, tanto que estaba buscando esta carta en diciembre y me aparecieron hasta 6 copias en estos packs los pondré a la venta a ver si algunos de ellos se venden.

Instruments/Instrumentos
We had better luck with the instruments. We even got an Antique Grand Piano. I thought I'd have a better chance of getting this card in packs. I also finished completing the collection of the most recent rare instruments, like the Blueberry Viola, Roadz Combo, Space Boy 34, and Amber Octobans. I still have several rare instruments from early 2025 to buy, but I'll have to buy them discreetly on the market.
En los instrumentos si tuvimos más suerte, incluso obtuvimos un Antique Grand Piano, pensé que yo tendría más oportunidad de conseguir esta carta en packs. Epic Cards/Cartas Épicas
Finally, we have the epic cards. Whenever I open an average of 100 packs, I usually get 4 to 5 epic cards, and this time was no exception. The first epic cards I got were instruments: 70s Double Bass and Chubby Import. These are in addition to the ones I got from the packs I opened at the end of 2025, but there's definitely a lot to do in this area. The good news is that I've seen epic instruments at very affordable prices, so it's very likely I'll start my selective purchases in the market with instruments.
Por último tenemos las cartas épicas, siempre que abro 100 packs en promedio suelo conseguir 4 a 5 cartas épicas y esta no fue la excepción. Las primeras cartas épicas en salir fueron instrumentos: 70´s Double Bass y Chubby Import, estos se suman a los que obtuve en los packs que abrí a finales del 2025 pero indudablemente que en este apartado tenemos mucho por hacer, pero la ventaja es que he visto que los instrumentos épicos a están a precios muy accesibles así que es muy posible que comience mis compras selectivas en el mercado con los instrumentos.

And just when I thought I wouldn't find any more new character cards, Ronny appears! I had already lost hope of getting this card and was about to buy it along with Ryan (E262) since they're quite cheap, but now I only need one more to complete the epic cards that were released back then, although for now it's not as high a priority as the instruments.
Y Justo cuando pensé que ya no encontraría cartas de personajes nuevos aparece Ronny! Ya había perdido la fe en conseguir esta carta y estaba a punto de comprarla junto a Ryan (E262) ya que están a precios bastante bajos pero ahora solo me falta 1 de ellas para completar las épicas que salieron en aquel momento, aunque por ahora no es una prioridad tan alta como los instrumentos.
I wanted to save this last epic card, an epic vehicle, for last. Honestly, I barely got any vehicles in these packs, just two rare ones, and that frustrates me a bit because vehicles in Rising Star are some of my favorite assets, mainly because of their art design. Many of them are references to movies and TV shows from my childhood, so I have a special fondness for them. In this case, we got the Apple Green Limo, a very classy limousine. Its price is good, but it's not the most expensive epic car in this series. In fact, I have many epic cars I'm missing, which is why I'm torn between starting to buy epic instruments or vehicles. I might end up buying the epic instruments first and leave the vehicles for later, although I might do one last pack opening beforehand to see what other extra epic cards I can get.
Quise dejar para el final esta última carta épica que fue un vehículo épico, la verdad que no obtuve casi ningún vehículo en estos packs, apenas 2 vehículos raros y eso me frustra un poco porque los vehículos en Rising Star son de mis activos favoritos principalmente por su diseño de arte y muchos de ellos son referencias a películas y series de mi infancia así que les tengo un cariño especial. En este caso conseguimos al Apple Green Limo una limusina con mucha clase, su precio esta bien pero no es el auto épico más caro de esta serie, de hecho aquí tengo muchos autos épicos que me faltan y por eso estoy dividido si empezar a comprar instrumentos épicos o los vehículos. Es posible que termine comprando los instrumentos épicos primero y deje para después los vehículos, aunque es posible que antes haga una última apertura de packs para ver que otras cartas épicas extras puedo conseguir.

Y bien amigos, así quedan mis estadísticas en Rising Star posterior a la apertura de los packs. Ya alcanzamos el nivel 120, es lo bueno de hacer las lecciones, te generan experiencia que me acercan todavía más a la siguiente misión que requiere el nivel 125 para poder completarla. Estaríamos a la mitad de las misiones que nos plantea la isla de County Tour, son verdaderamente largas estas misiones pero creo que para finales de año ya estaremos en las últimas misiones de esta isla.
