#MyHiveGoals week #8: March #HPUD and February #HPUM, status of my HBD and achievements in the second layer of Hive [Eng/Esp]
Happy start to the week, dear community! We're already starting March, and just yesterday two very important things happened for me: the first was that I received another shipment from the United States, specifically from Kentucky, of this Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, a premium elixir I had already tried last year, and it's simply heavenly! It's ironic because I've had a bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey for years and I've never tried it. Woodford Reserve was my first Bourbon. It just so happens that here in Venezuela it's more common to find Scotch whiskies like William Lawsons, Chivas Regal, or Ballantine's. That's why tasting a Bourbon is always a privilege. The second thing is that yesterday was our third #HPUD of the year, the one for March, and of course we couldn't miss this event, but first, let's see how the price of Hive has been behaving this February.

In early February, Hive's value was around $0.073, but today we're far from that value: $0.066. Of course, we have to consider the sharp drop in BTC, which has been a very hard blow to the value of our cryptocurrency. I don't know if we'll see a recovery, but I see this as a good opportunity to buy some Hive NFTs that I already have my eye on. In general, this drop in the crypto market is a good opportunity to acquire certain NFTs for projects like Splinterlands, so rather than a tragedy, I see these circumstances as a good buying opportunity.
Hive/HP
As I mentioned before, yesterday was Hive Power Up Day, which is when we lock a minimum of 10 Hives to increase our voting power/participation within the blockchain. Since 2025, I've been committed to this community event at different levels. The first one I want to explain is #HPUD, where we lock our usual 11 Hives. This is a great opportunity if you're interested in participating in Hive and want to significantly increase your influence, as the coin's price is quite low. This is my third #HPUD of the year, but this is where the second level of my Hive strategy comes in: I've been powering up every day since the beginning of the year.
Well, to be fair, I've been powering up daily nonstop since the beginning of 2025, and my goal is to continue this trend into 2026. The thing is, Hivebuzz rewards us if we power up continuously for an entire month, which we call Hive Power Up Month (#HPUM). But for some reason, we're not getting the badge or the reward, which is a HP delegation. I hope they address this soon; I really enjoy the badges for these achievements. But beyond that, these strategies as a whole have helped me increase my HP. When I started the year, I had 7600 HP, and now I'm over 8641 HP. That means we've already reached the first 1000 HP of 2026, and we've done it in just two months. If we keep this up, we might even surpass our #MyHiveGoals goal of 8400 HP for this year.

HBD Savings
Now, let's talk about my HBD savings. I never imagined I'd be subconsciously protecting myself from Hive's depreciation through the stablecoin HBD. I originally started doing this as a way to manage my 50% post rewards in HBD. I began in late 2023, and today I have over 1,859 HBD. This time, I earned the equivalent of 6,770 HBD in Hive, which I had to exchange through Keychain.
We then proceeded to lock up those HBD and add them to our existing savings, for a total of 1866 HBD. Honestly, I never thought I'd get this far, especially considering I live in the economic hell of Venezuela. But I also want to highlight the 15% APR, even though it's down from 20%, it's still a very good percentage. If you look at the monthly interest generated, we already have 22 HBD, which in a few hours we'll add to our balance to make the snowball grow bigger and bigger.
2nd Layer Tokens
We'll close our report with my goals in Hive's second layer. As I've been reporting in previous issues, I'm focused on everything related to the BBH project. This token gives us a day of dripping, which is basically a battery of second-layer tokens. It's undoubtedly a very attractive initiative, and the project in general is quite interesting because it proposes a token worth the same as 1 satochi backed by Hive. For now, I already have a good amount of BBH, but my current interest is focused on the BBHO governance token.
Last week I couldn't buy any more BBHO tokens because they're so expensive, so for now I've been farming them using the #BBH tag in my posts. I think this week will be the same; I'll assess the token's price over the next few days, and if it drops to attractive levels, I'll buy again. But what I do want to highlight is that I've already reached 5,000 BBHO, and I'm receiving a new reward token, Alive, as a bonus when drip day arrives.

Ya estamos comenzando el mes de marzo y tan solo ayer pasaron 2 cosas muy importantes para mi: la primera fue que me volvieron a traer desde Estados Unidos, más específicamente de Kentucky este Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey un elixir premium que ya había probado el año pasado y es simplemente el cielo! Por eso catar un Bourbon siempre es todo un privilegio, lo segundo es que ayer fue nuestro tercer #HPUD del año, el de marzo y por supuesto no podíamos faltar a este evento, pero antes veamos como se ha comportado el precio de Hive este mes de febrero.

Los primeros días de febrero el valor de Hive estaba sobre los 0,073$ pero hoy ya estamos muy alejado de ese valor: 0,066$ por supuesto tenemos que considerar la fuerte caída de BTC que ha sido un golpe muy duro para el valor de nuestra criptomoneda. Ignoro si tendremos una recuperación de la moneda, pero veo esto como una buena oportunidad para comprar algunos NFT de hive que ya los tengo en la mira y en general esta caída en el mercado cripto es una buena oportunidad para adquirir ciertos NFT para proyectos como Splinterlands, así que más que una tragedia veo estas circunstancias como una buena oportunidad para comprar.

Como les comenté anteriormente, ayer fue el Hive Power Up Day que es el momento en el que bloqueamos un mínimo de 10 Hives para de esta manera aumentar nuestro poder de voto/participación dentro de la blockchain y desde el 2025 me he comprometido en este evento de comunidad a distintos niveles, el primero que quiero exponerles es el de #HPUD donde bloqueamos nuestros acostumbrados 11 Hives, esta es una buena oportunidad si estas interesado en participar dentro de Hive y quieres aumentar significativamente tu influencia ya que el precio de la moneda esta bastante bajo. Este es mi tercer #HPUD del año pero aquí es donde entra el segundo nivel de mi estrategia con Hive, y es que he estado haciendo power up todos los días desde que empezó el año.
Bueno, siendo justos he estado haciendo power up diarios sin parar desde que comenzó el año 2025 y mi meta es encadenar con este año 2026. El asunto es que Hivebuzz nos recompensa si hacemos power up sin pausa a lo largo de todo un mes, a lo que llamamos Hive Power Up Month #HPUM pero por alguna razón no nos están dando esta medalla ni la recompensa que es una delegación en Hp, espero que puedan atender este asunto pronto, disfruto mucho de las insignias de estos logros. Pero más allá de eso, visto como un conjunto estas estrategias me han ayudado a incrementar mi Hp, cuando comencé el año tenía 7600 HP ya hoy estamos sobre los 8641 HP, es decir que logramos ya los primeros 1000 Hp de este 2026 y lo hemos logrado en 2 meses, si mantenemos el ritmo con suerte podremos superar nuestra meta de #MyHiveGoals de 8400 HP para este año.

Ahorros HBD
Ahora pasamos a los ahorros de HBD, nunca pensé que de forma inconsciente me estaría protegiendo de la caída de valor de Hive, a través del token estable HBD. Originalmente lo hice como una forma de gestionar ese 50% de recompensas en las publicaciones bajo la forma de HBD, comencé hacer esto a finales del 2023 y al día de hoy ya estoy sobre los 1859 HBD. En esta ocasión logre ganar el equivalente a 6,770 HBD en forma de Hive que tuve que cambiar a través de la plataforma de Keychain.
Procedimos entonces a bloquear esos HBD y sumarlos a lo que ya tenemos guardado para sumar un total de 1866 HBD, la verdad es que no pensé que llegaría tan lejos y eso que vivo en el infierno económico venezolano. Pero también quiero destacar el porcentaje de 15% de APR aún cuando bajo de 20% de APR sigue siendo un % muy bueno, si te fijas en los intereses mensuales generados, ya tenemos 22 HBD que en unas cuantas horas sumaremos a nuestro balance para hacer cada vez más grande la bola de nieve.
Tokens de segunda capa
Cerramos nuestro reporte con mis metas en la segunda capa de Hive, como ya les venía reportando en los números anteriores, estoy enfocado en todo lo que tiene que ver con el proyecto BBH, este token nos regala un día del goteo que es básicamente una batería de tokens de segunda capa. Es sin duda una iniciativa muy atractiva y el proyecto en general, bastante interesante porque propone un token que valga lo mismo que 1 satochi respaldado con hive. Por ahora ya tengo una buena cantidad de BBH, pero mi interés actual se centra en el token de gobernanza BBHO.
Esta semana que pasó no pude comprar más tokens BBHO porque esta muy caro, así que por ahora lo he estado farmeando usando la etiqueta #BBH en mis publicaciones. Creo que esta semana será igual, evaluaré el precio del token en estos días y si baja a precios atractivos volveré a comprar, pero lo que si quiero destacar es que he alcanzado ya los 5000 BBHO, y estoy recibiendo de recompensa cuando llega el día de goteo, un nuevo token de recompensa: Alive.
Bien amigos este fue mi reporte semanal, aunque no pude publicar mi reporte de la semana pasada, no he dejado de mantenerme activo en la blockchain y haciendo crecer mi HP y HBD así que seguimos manteniendo el ritmo. Nos vemos en el próximo reporte, mis estimados, buena suerte. Saludos!

Excelente trabajo de crecimiento! Yo de verdad que me cuesta mucho mantener esa costumbre de publicar todos los días. Cada semana fallo un día, aunque antes era peor ya que apenas y publicaba dos o tres veces a la semana. Supongo que, de alguna u otra manera, he logrado mejorar un poco en estos últimos meses.
También decidí hacer mis propios reportes, pero no semanales sino mensuales, mejor. El tema de los ahorros en HBD también tengo que hacerlo. Puse unos 0,50 HBD en Stake y ahí los dejé. Pensé agregar más, pero luego dejaron de dar HBD y el HIVE empezó a caer en picada. 🥴 Tengo que ponerme las pilas con eso también.
Por cierto, hablando de Alive, luego de que logres tu objetivo con BBHO, puedes echarle un vistazo a todo lo que ofrece este otro token (ALIVE) que leí por ahí que también da recompensas por cada tantos miles de tokens acumulados o en Stake. 🤔
