#MyHiveGoals week #4: Our second #HPUD, first HPUM, first interest on HBD, and progress on the second layer of Hive [Eng/Esp]
Hello community! The cold in the tropics is making itself felt with just a couple of degree drop in the city, but that's no impediment for the many trees of Caracas to begin blooming, respecting the first days of February. Undoubtedly, the first month has been long and full of events, but we decided to say goodbye to January by taking firm steps towards the growth of our Hive account and we welcomed February 1st with our usual monthly community event: the Hive Power Up Day #HPUD! Last month we not only completed it, but we also achieved the Hive Power Up Helper as our first goal accomplished in #MyHiveGoals, and this February 1st was no exception. We powered up 11 Hive tokens to boost our voting power and help the price of Hive, which has been somewhat down these last few weeks.

Hive/HP
Okay, let's start with Hive and one of the goals I'm not sure will be validated: I haven't received my January badge for the Hive Power Up Month (#HPUM). I mentioned this before regarding the last month of 2025, when I was getting a daily power-up, but I didn't receive the badge. Something similar is happening now with January. Well, I won't be too negative; I'll wait until 00 UTC to confirm if I received it or not. If I didn't, they should address the assignment of this achievement because it comes with a reward in HP Delegate points, which is very helpful when voting on and supporting community content.
But getting back to our HP progress, it wasn't until last week that we reached last year's 8K HP goal, and in just one week, we've already accumulated almost 8150 HP—an excellent start to the year! Let's hope we can maintain this pace to reach our goal for 2026.

HBD Savings
We've reached my favorite part of this report: evaluating our HBD savings growth! Today, in particular, we're collecting the interest generated in one month, which is 23.5 HBD, plus the 5.3 HBD we generated this past week.

The total so far is 1835 HBD. Let's consider the power of the "rolling snowball" effect: we started 2026 with 1767 HBD, and in just one month, with the 50% HBD rewards and the interest on our savings, we've reached an incredible 1835 HBD! And we're just getting started with the year; I can already imagine how much we'll have saved by the end of June. That's why we need to stay strong, take care of our health, and continue patiently and diligently increasing our savings. Remember, each HBD is like a worker generating a 15% APR, and you can add its earnings to your savings every 30 days!
The long march with BBHO (part II)
Now we move on to our main goal in the second layer of Hive. I should really leave this space for what I earn weekly playing SPL, but this week I've practically only been playing tournaments and very little ranked, so I preferred to continue telling you about this tough journey I decided to undertake with BBHO. Our goal: to reach 20,000 of this governance token.
Last week I shared the reasons why this token is difficult to obtain: an extremely limited supply and prices that gradually increase. We decided that the best strategy is to buy small amounts throughout the week, and whenever possible, at advantageous prices. The best offers started appearing on Wednesday and onward, and it wasn't until Sunday that I completed the 1,000 units of this token needed to stake them.
The funds for this come from the weekly HBDs I make. That's right, folks, I'm sacrificing a worker's 15% APR to buy these second-layer tokens. It's, in a way, my vote of confidence in this project. We're already at 3,000 BBHOs, and our immediate goal for next week is 4,000 tokens. Let's hope fate aligns so we can reach this next goal.

We're continuing to grow our HBD snowball, and so far, things are going well for our BBHO token project. Hola comunidad! El frío en el trópico se hace sentir con apenas una reducción de un par de grados en la ciudad, pero eso no es impedimento para que las muchos de los árboles de Caracas comiencen a florecer respetando los primeros días de Febrero. Sin duda que el primer mes ha sido largo y lleno de muchos acontecimientos, pero hemos decidido despedir el mes de enero dando pasos firmes hacia el crecimiento de nuestra cuenta en hive y recibimos este 1ero de Febrero con nuestro acostumbrado evento de comunidad mensual: el Hive Power Up day #HPUD! El mes pasado no solo lo completamos, sino que también hicimos el Hive Power Up Helper como nuestra primera meta cumplida en #MyHiveGoals y este 1ero de Febrero no fue la excepción encendimos 11 tokens hive para potenciar nuestro poder de voto y ayudar al precio de hive que esta un tanto alicaído estas últimas semanas.

Hive/HP
Bien, comencemos con hive y una de las metas que ahora no estoy seguro si nos la van a validar y es que aún no me dan la insignia del mes de enero para el Hive Power Up Moth #HPUM. Esto es algo que ya había hablado sobre el último mes de 2025, donde aparecían todos los días haciendo power up pero no me dieron la insignia. Algo parecido esta pasando ahora con el mes de Enero, bueno no seré tan negativo esperaré al corte de las 0 UTC para confirmar si me la dieron o no, en caso negativo deberían atender la asignación de este logro porque lleva asociado una recompensa en HP delegado que nos ayuda mucho al momento de votar y apoyar el contenido de la comunidad.
Pero retomando nuestro avance en HP no fue hasta la semana pasada que habíamos alcanzado la meta de 8K de Hp del año pasado y en solo 1 semana ya tenemos un acumulado de casi 8150 HP, un excelente comienzo del año y esperemos poder mantener el ritmo para alcanzar nuestra meta para este 2026.

Ahorros HBD
Llegamos a mi parte favorita de este reporte, evaluar nuestro crecimiento en ahorros de HBD! Hoy en particular recogemos nuestros intereses generados en 1 mes, siendo de 23.5 HBD a los que sumamos 5.3 HBD que generamos esta semana que ya termina.

El total hasta ahora suma 1835 HBD. Evaluemos el potencial del efecto "bola de viene": comenzamos el 2026 con una cantidad de 1767 HBD y en solo 1 mes con el 50% de recompensas en HBD y el interés de nuestros ahorros llegamos a 1835 HBD sublime! Y apenas estamos comenzando el año, ya me estoy imaginando la cantidad que tendremos ahorrado para finales de junio. Por eso hay que mantenernos firmes, cuidar nuestra salud y continuar dedicada y pacientemente aumentar nuestros ahorros, recuerda cada HBD es un trabajador que te generará un 15% de APR que además podrás sumar su producción al ahorro casa 30 días!
La larga marcha con BBHO (parte II)
Pasamos ahora a nuestra meta principal en la segunda capa de hive, en realidad debería dejar este espacio para lo que genero semanalmente jugando SPL pero esta semana prácticamente solo estuve jugando torneos y muy poco ranked así que preferí continuár hablándoles de este duro viaje que decidí emprender con BBHO. Nuestra meta, llegar a los 20K de este token de gobernanza.
La semana pasada les compartía las razones que hacían de este token difícil de obtener, una oferta extremadamente limitada y precios que gradualmente van aumentando. Nos planteamos entonces, que la mejor estrategia es ir comprando cantidades pequeñas a lo largo de la semana y en la medida de lo posible a precios ventajosos. Así, las mejores ofertas comenzaron a verse el miércoles en adelante, solo hasta ahora domingo fue que complete las 1000 unidades de este token para poder entonces ponerlos en staking.
Los fondos para esto salen de los HBD que hago semanalmente, así es amigos, sacrifico un trabajador 15% APR para poder comprar estos tokens de segunda capa, es por decirlo de alguna manera mi voto de confianza por este proyecto. Ahora ya estamos en 3000 BBHO y nuestra meta inmediata para la siguiente semana son los 4000 tokens, esperemos que el destino alinee las cosas para lograr esta próxima meta inmediata.
Bien amigos, estas fueron nuestras metas de hive, hemos cumplido con el #HPUD, esperemos que nos contabilicen la insignia del #HPUM de enero, seguimos creciendo la bola de HBD y hasta ahora tenemos buen viento y buena mar para nuestro proyecto con el token BBHO. La próxima semana les actualizaré de estas metas inmediatas y evaluar si hay o no que revaluar nuestra estrategia. Por lo pronto solo me queda desearles un feliz inicio de semana y buena suerte.
