My October Power-Ups: #HPUD & #HPUM: My Layer 2 Token Progress [Eng/Esp]

Hey, friends of Hive Power! It's already October 1st, and as usual, we're invited to the community event that unites us as a community: #HPUD, or Hive Power Up Day. In these last 30 days, I've achieved some significant milestones, and the most important of them was changing my status to Dolphin within the network. How exciting! I've been eagerly awaiting the status change, and boy, did I enjoy it. It reminded me of how I started in hive and the many people who helped me, to whom I will be very grateful.
But back to today's activity, let's take stock. We had reached two milestones: the first, the September power-up, and the second, a slightly more complicated one: performing power-ups throughout the month of August. Now, let's see how we did in this first month of the last quarter of the year.

Let's start with the HP, from September 1st to October 1st we increased our HP by just over 300 HP, this happens because I'm dividing my rewards into 50% HP/50% HBD and why HBD? Well because I'm on a compound interest strategy with 15% of the HBD blocked to create the income snowball, I've been doing this since the end of 2023 and I can say that it has worked for me because I couldn't fund my hive wallet, something I did at the end of every month but due to country circumstances I had to take the interest generated monthly with the HBD and transfer it to Hive to do this month's #HPUD.

With that said, we proceeded to perform this month's Power Up. I like to do it in PeakD. We go to the wallet, in the liquid hives, and open the tab that will show us the power up option. Then, enter the amount you want to lock. In my case, I'll lock the amount I normally use: 11 Hives. Once done, we receive a notification that we have successfully completed the power up, you can check it on this page with your account name.

The big question now is: Did we make it to September's #HPUM (Hive Power Up Month)? And the answer is a resounding yes! It wasn't easy since I live in South America and often don't have internet access, and other times I ran out of liquid hives, but after some sacrifices and always being consistent, we managed to cover every day of September. I'm more relaxed for the next two months, so I don't think I'll need the interest generated by the blocked HBDs.

And so, with today's power-up, we already have the first day of October. I'm optimistic and know we'll make it through this month as well. For now, my biggest concern is increasing the amount of HP generated in the posts, adding the comments, which is the part I need to work on the most, and also on the second-layer tokens, more specifically on those tokens that can generate liquid hives for me, and these are precisely the ones we are going to evaluate next.
Progress on second-layer tokens
This month I've been dedicatedly working on three second-layer tokens. The first is still BRO. I'm consistently accumulating these tokens, spending absolutely nothing to increase my position with this fantastic community token. I joined this project in early August, delegating 2K in HP and initially purchasing 10 BROs.
Every day I receive a significant amount of BROs from having delegated HP, and since I started in August, my amount of liquid BROs has currently risen to more than 13 BROs.
If I stay consistent and luck is on my side, I'll be able to generate 10 BROs by the end of the year. If this goal is finally achieved, I'm seriously considering taking those 10 BROs generated from the delegation and introducing them into one of the liquidity pools at the beginning of next year and evaluating the profits it generates over time.
Token PoB
The second promising token is PoB. I love the spirit of this token and its community. I've set my goal to reach 20,000 PoB locked and delegate them to the main PoB account so it can generate the valuable liquid hives I need. I started this project last month and acquired just over 3,500 PoBs, but by then the token was already at a very high price, so I started accumulating swap.hive, waiting for an attractive offer, and I finally got it.
Even so, it wasn't enough for us to reach 20K PoB, we were only able to buy 3K PoB and in total we reached almost 18K PoB, I won't lie to you that I was frustrated that I couldn't get there, but I hope to finally reach this goal on the next Hive Power Up Day.
If we had to summarize, I think the best option would be these graphs. The one on the left shows the consistent growth in HP, which I hope to continue maintaining in the coming months. The one on the left corresponds to the HBD generated; it fluctuates since I block everything generated in the posts every 7 days. But in short, we continue to grow in both HP and blocked HBD.

Que tal amigos de Hive Power! Ya es 1ero de Octubre y como ya es costumbre somos convocados al evento de comunidad que nos une como comunidad: el #HPUD o Hive Power Up Day. En estos últimos 30 días he alcanzado logros bastante significativos y entre ellos el más importante fue el cambio de estatus a Delfín dentro de la red, que emoción! estuve esperando ansiosamente el cambio de estatus y vaya que lo disfrute, me hizo recordar como comencé en hive y las muchas personas que me ayudaron y a los que estaré muy agradecido.
Pero volviendo a nuestra actividad de hoy, hagamos un recuento, habíamos alcanzado 2 logros: el primero el encendido del mes de septiembre y el segundo un logro un poco más complicado: realizar encendidos a lo largo del mes de agosto, ahora veamos como nos fue en este primer mes del último trimestre del año.

Comencemos por el HP, desde septiembre 1 al 1ero de Octubre incrementamos nuestro HP en poco más de 300 HP, esto pasa porque estoy dividiendo mis recompensas en 50% HP/50% HBD y porque HBD? Pues porque estoy en una estrategia de interés compuesto con el 15% de los HBD bloqueados para ir creado la bola de nieve de ingresos, llevo en esto desde finales de 2023 y puedo decir que me ha funcionado porque no pude fondear mi billetera de hive, algo que hacía cada final de mes pero por circunstancias país tuve que tomar de los intereses generados mensualmente con los HBD y los pase a Hive para hacer el #HPUD de este mes.

Con esto dicho, procedimos a realizar el Power Up de este mes, me gusta realizarlo en PeakD, nos vamos a billetera, en los hives líquidos y desplegamos la pestaña que nos indicará la opción de power up y posteriormente colocar la cantidad que deseas bloquear, en mi caso bloqueare la cantidad que normalmente uso: 11 Hives. Una ves realizado, recibimos la notificación de que hemos realizado exitosamente el power up, puedes revisarlo en esta página con el nombre de tu cuenta.

La gran pregunta ahora es: Logramos el #HPUM (Hive Power Up Month) de septiembre? Y la respuesta es un rotundo si! No fue algo fácil ya que vivo en Sur América y muchas veces no tengo acceso a la red y otras veces me quedaba sin hives líquidos, pero luego de algunos sacrificios y siempre manteniendo la constancia logramos cubrir cada día del mes de septiembre. Para los próximos 2 meses estoy más tranquilo así que no creo que vaya a necesitar de los intereses generados por los HBD bloqueados.

Y así, con el encendido del día de hoy ya tenemos el primer día del mes de Octubre, soy optimista y se que lograremos cubrir este mes también. Por ahora mi mayor preocupación es aumentar la cantidad de HP generados en los post, sumándole los comentarios que es la parte que debo trabajar más y también en los tokens de segunda capa, más específicamente en aquellos tokens que pueden generarme hives líquidos y son precisamente los que vamos a evaluar a continuación.
Progress on second-layer tokens
Este mes he estado trabajando de forma dedicada 3 tokens de segunda capa, el primero sigue siendo BRO, me mantengo acumulando estos tokens consistentemente, sin gastar absolutamente nada para aumentar mi posición con este genial token de comunidad. Me incorporé a este proyecto los primeros días de agosto delegando 2K en HP y comprando inicialmente 10 BROs.
Todos los días recibo una cantidad importante de BROs por tener HP delegados y desde que comencé en Agosto actualmente mi cantidad de BROs líquidos ha ascendido a más de 13 BROs.
Si me mantengo constante y la fortuna esta de mi lado podré generar 10 BROs a finales del año, si esta meta finalmente se concreta, estoy pensando seriamente tomar esos 10 BROs generados de la delegación e introducirlos en uno de los pool de liquidez para comienzos del año que viene y evaluar con el tiempo las ganancias que genera.
Token PoB
El segundo token prometedor es PoB, amo el espíritu de este token y su comunidad, me he propuesto llegar a los 20K de PoB bloqueados y delegarlos a la cuenta principal de PoB para que me genere los valiosos hives líquidos que necesito. comencé este proyecto el mes pasado y adquirí poco mas de 3500 PoBs pero ya para ese momento el token estaba a un precio muy alto, así que comencé acumular swap.hive esperando el momento de conseguir una oferta atractiva y finalmente la conseguí.
Aún así no nos alcanzó para llegar a los 20K PoB apenas pudimos comprar 3K de PoB y en total llegamos a los casi 18K de PoB, no les mentiré me frustró no poder llegar, pero espero finalmente alcanzar esta meta el próximo Hive Power Up Day.
Si tuviéramos que hacer un resumen, creo que la mejor opción son estas gráficas, la de la izquierda nos muestra el crecimiento consistente de del HP y que espero seguir manteniendo en los próximos meses. El de la izquierda corresponde al HBD generado, se ve fluctuante ya que cada 7 días hago un bloqueo de todo lo generado en las publicaciones. Pero en resumen seguimos creciendo tanto en HP como HBD bloqueado.
