My first report to the #MyHiveGoals initiative: Progress as of November 17, 2025, on Hive/HBD and second-layer tokens [Eng/Esp]

Hello Hive community! Wishing you a happy and productive start to the week, I wanted to share my first contribution to this great and interesting initiative. I was inspired by my esteemed colleague @ph1102, whose report last week really got me excited. Every weekend, I manage the funds I earn from my weekly posts, and I used to take screenshots of my weekly progress as a kind of record. But seeing this initiative, I thought it would be better to document my progress on Hive from my blog using the #MyHiveGoals hashtag.
You see, friends, after learning about Hive's Web3 nature and studying it in depth throughout 2023, I understood its enormous potential. Coming from Splinterlands during the NFT bubble, I spent over two years playing competitively, completely unaware of the possibilities this wonderful blockchain offered. So, at the beginning of 2024, I dedicated myself intensely to growing on the platform and evaluating the potential of certain Hive features, such as the generous APR offered by Hive Bonus Day (HBD). In those 12 months, I grew significantly, which was an interesting learning process but also a potential savings tool—something that seemed impossible in this part of the Global South, where we could only resign ourselves to watching our poor fiat currencies devalue. Hive became an alternative that brought back a culture of saving and planning, something I will always be grateful for.
Hive/HBD
My goal for 2025 was to reach 8000 HP. It seems like a rather uphill battle at this point, but I have to consider that my rewards are split 50% HP and 50% HBD. If I had it set to 100% HP, I would have already reached this goal. So I don't see these numbers as too bad; there's still a month and a half left until the end of the year, we'll see how far we get.
Another aspect, which might seem like material for the #HPUD/#HPUM events, I want to highlight here because I'm doing Hive startups every day to earn the HPUM medal. This is rewarded with HP delegation that increases with consistency. When I completed my first few months of startups, I earned 20 delegated HP; currently, it's 62 HP. It's a process I enjoy because it helps me develop a management discipline focused on saving and growth within the platform.
Now, the overall result of all this has been a steady increase in my HP, within my means, of course. Having the rewards split between HP and HBD certainly slows down the growth of our voting power. But as we'll see later, that 50% of rewards in HBD opens the door to other equally beneficial possibilities.

HBD
I live in the developing world, and the devaluation of national currencies against the hard currencies of the financial centers of the Global North is a reality that affects us all. Since graduating, I barely knew what it was like to save for six months. After that, we've been subjected to this kind of financial and diplomatic aggression from the Global North through the use of the dollar as a hybrid weapon of war. Thus, the Hive blockchain has become an effective savings tool, something we hadn't known about for over a decade, and I decided to put its benefits to the test. Then in January 2024 I started putting the HBD I earned into savings, at that time the APR % was 20% and my amount of HBD locked was 160 HBD.
One year and eleven months later, my savings have grown significantly. As I mentioned before, I achieved this with only 50% of my posting earnings. The snowball effect continued because this option has the advantage of compound interest; that is, every 30 days you can claim the accumulated interest. What I did was lock it in, and although the APR dropped to 15% in August 2024, it's still a very good percentage for continuing to grow my HBD.
I look forward to seeing how many HBD I've accumulated throughout the week every Sunday. On average, I generate between 10 and 11 HBD weekly with 50% of my post earnings, and when the 30-day interest period ends, I generate 20 HBD, which also goes into savings. The conclusion is that with this process I have already reached 1650 HBD, my goal for this year was to reach 1800 HBD, I think it is still a plausible goal in this month and a half that remains in the year.

Second-layer tokens
Then we have the second-layer tokens. I have to start with the Splinterlands governance token because it's the one I've farmed the most. Talking about Splinterlands and Splinterlands goals is so ambiguous for me, mainly because the constant changes to the requirements for earning in-game rewards have made it increasingly difficult for new players to acquire the game's token. However, I had set myself the goal of reaching 40,000 Splinters because in the last quarter of last year I had to spend nearly 20,000 Splinters to activate my epic plot, and since then I've been trying to rebuild my Splinterlands balance. It's quite a challenging goal, but I don't see it as impossible.

The second token for which I have achieved this year's goal is Proof of Brain (PoB). My goal was to reach 20,000 PoB through staking and then delegate it. PoB is part of the Proof of Brain community token that supports publications that create original content without artificial intelligence. I really liked the concept, and it also follows the same line as BTC in terms of its tokenomics, a limited number of tokens issued.

In short, the token isn't very abundant; that is, it's not easy to find people selling PoB on the market. So, little by little, I bought these tokens, and I also obtained some from the #pob hashtag throughout 2024 and all of 2025. Now that we've reached this year's goal, the next step was to delegate it to pob.voter, which will give us back a significant amount of Hive weekly. This is ultimately my main purpose: to focus on second-layer tokens that generate Hive back, whether by holding them, staking them, or, in this case, delegating them.
Well, friends, with that, I conclude this first #MyHiveGoals report for this week. I maintain discipline with the hive/hbd pair, doing daily activations and saving all the hbd I can get. I won't deny how interesting projects involving 2nd layer tokens are, but I recently had a bitter experience with the Bro token where I literally lost my time and invested money.
This made me rethink these projects. PoB and SPS are projects I've been working on since 2023, so I'm glad to have completed my main goals with them. But the question is, which second-layer projects are robust enough to invest in? For now, ph1102's Workbee delegation project seems very promising, so I'm thinking of participating in it by 2026. There are other projects where my participation is smaller, like bbh and alive, but with great potential. I'll elaborate on them in a future report, including some NFTs that return hive just for holding them in your collection. Hola comunidad de hive! Deseándoles un feliz y productivo inicio de semana, he querido compartirles el que sería mi primer aporte a esta genial e interesante iniciativa, motivado por mi apreciado compañero @ph1102 que al ver su reporte la semana pasada me entusiasmó porque cada final de semana hago un manejo de los fondos que obtengo de mis publicaciones semanales y lo que hacía era realizar capturas de mis progresos semanales como una especie de registro, pero viendo esta iniciativa me pareció mejor dejar registro de mis progresos en hive desde mi blog utilizando la etiqueta #MyHiveGoals.
Verán amigos, después de conocer la naturaleza web3 de hive y estudiarla a profundidad a lo largo del año 2023 comprendí el gran potencial que tenía, ya que venía de Splinterlands durante la burbuja de los NFT y dediqué más de 2 años a jugar de forma competitiva, ignorando todas las posibilidades de esta maravillosa blockchain. Así que al empezar el año 2024 me dedique de forma hardcore a crecer en la plataforma y evaluar el potencial de ciertas funciones de hive como lo es ese jugoso porcentaje de APR que tiene el HBD. En esos 12 meses crecí de manera significativa, siendo un interesante proceso de aprendizaje pero también como una potencial herramienta de ahorros, algo que esta parte del Sur Global parecía imposible y solo debíamos resignarnos a ver como se devaluaban nuestras tristes monedas fíat. Hive se convirtió en una alternativa que nos devolvió la cultura del ahorro y planificación, cosa de la que siempre estaré agradecido.

Mi meta para este 2025 era llegar a los 8000 Hp parece una meta ya a estas alturas un tanto cuesta arriba pero debo considerar primero que mis recompensas están divididas en 50% Hp y 50% HBD, de tenerlo configurado al 100% en Hp ya había conseguido esta meta. Así que no veo tan mal estos número, aún queda mes y medio para el final de año, ya veremos hasta donde llegamos.
Otro aspecto que aunque pareciera material para los eventos del #HPUD / #HPUM quiero destacarlo aquí porque todos los días estoy haciendo encendidos de hive para lograr la medalla de HPUM que es recompensado con una delegación de Hp que se incrementa a medida que se siga siendo constante, cuando logre mis primeros meses de encendido ganaba 20 Hp delegados, actualmente son 62 Hp. Es un proceso que disfruto hacerlo ya que en cierta forma me ayuda a crear una disciplina de gestión enfocada al ahorro y crecimiento dentro de la plataforma.
Ahora bien, el resultado conjunto de todo esto ha sido un crecimiento constante de mi Hp dentro de mis posibilidades por supuesto, tener dividido las recompensas en Hp y HBD ciertamente hace que el crecimiento de nuestro poder de voto sea más lento. Pero como veremos más adelante, ese 50% de recompensas en HBD abre la puerta a otras posibilidades igualmente beneficiosas.

HBD
Vivo en 3er mundo y la devaluación de las monedas nacionales respecto a las monedas duras de los centros financieros del norte global es una realidad que nos afecta a todos. Desde que me gradué como profesional apenas supe lo que era ahorrar apenas 6 meses, posterior a eso hemos estado sometido a esta especie de agresión financiera y diplomática desde el norte global a través del uso del dólar como arma de guerra hibrida. Así, la blockchain de hive se ha convertido en una herramienta de ahorro efectivo, que teníamos más de una década sin saber que era eso y decidí entonces poner a prueba sus beneficios. Entonces en Enero de 2024 comencé poner en ahorros los HBD que ganaba, para aquel tiempo el % de APR era de 20% y mi cantidad de HBD bloqueados era de 160 HBD.
1 año y 11 meses después ha sido significativo el crecimiento de mis ahorros, como dije anteriormente, esto lo logré sólo con el 50% de las ganancias de mis publicaciones, la bola de nieve fue creciendo porque esta opción tiene la ventaja del interés compuesto, es decir, cada 30 días puedes reclamar los intereses acumulados y lo que hacía era dejarlos bloqueados y aunque en agosto del 2024 el APR bajo a 15% sigue siendo un porcentaje bastante conveniente para continuar creciendo esos HBD.
Espero cada domingo para ver cuantos HBD he acumulado a lo largo de la semana, en promedio genero entre 10 a 11 HBD semanalmente con el 50% de las publicaciones y cuando se cumplen los 30 días de los intereses genero 20 HBD que también van al ahorro. La conclusión es que con este proceso he llegado ya a los 1650 HBD, mi meta para este año era llegar a los 1800 HBD, creo que sigue siendo una meta plausible en este mes y medio que le resta al año.

Tokens de segunda capa
Luego tenemos los tokens de segunda capa, debo empezar necesaria mente por el token de gobernanza de Splinterlands porque es el que he farmeado en gran cantidad. El segundo token del que si he logrado la meta de este año es Proof of Brain (PoB), mi meta era llegar a los 20K de PoB en Staking y posteriormente delegarlos. PoB forma parte del token de la comunidad Proof of Brain que apoya aquellas publicaciones que crean contenido original sin inteligencia artificial, me gustó mucho el concepto y además sigue la misma línea de Btc en cuanto a su tokenómica, una cantidad limitada de tokens emitidos.

En resumen, el token no es muy abundante, es decir no es fácil encontrar personas que vendan PoB en el mercado, así que poco a poco fui comprando estos tokens y otra parte la obtenía de las etiqueta #pob a lo largo del 2024 y todo lo que va de este 2025. Ahora que hemos llegado a esta meta del año, el siguiente paso fue delegarlo a pob.voter que nos dará de vuelta una cantidad importante de hive semanalmente que es en última instancia mi propósito principal, enfocarme en aquellos tokens de 2da capa que generen de vuelta hive, ya sea por holdearlos, stakearlos o en este caso delegarlos.
Bien amigos, con esto cierro este primer reporte de #MyHiveGoals de esta semana. Mantengo la disciplina con el par hive/hbd, haciendo encendidos diarios y ahorrando todo hbd que pueda conseguir, no negaré lo interesante de los proyectos que involucran tokens de 2da capa, pero recientemente tuve una amarga experiencia con el token Bro donde literalmente perdí mi tiempo y el dinero invertido.
Esto me hizo replantearme mejor estos proyectos, PoB y Sps son ya proyectos que tenía trabajando en ellos desde 2023 así que me alegra haber concluido mis metas principales con ellos, pero la pregunta es que proyectos de segunda capa son lo suficientemente robustos para invertir en ellos. Por ahora el proyecto de delegar workbee de ph1102 me parece muy prometedor por lo que estoy pensando participar en el para el 2026. Existen otros proyectos donde mi participación es menor como bbh y alive, pero con gran potencial, me extenderé en ellos en un próximo reporte incluyendo algunos nft que retornan hive solo por tenerlos en tu colección. I still believe that 50/50 HBD/Hive payout is the best. It doesn't hinder any growth as you can still power up by converting some of your HBD. Keep achieving your goal....
