My entry in the Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest - Round #379: Hunting shadows on a cloudy day! [Eng/Esp]
Hello Shadow Hunters community, welcome to my entry to the Smash contest round 379 where we share our passion for photography, and the search for creative perspectives when capturing a shadow. I decided to wait until yesterday to hunt a shadow to share with you today, but unfortunately, the day dawned quite cloudy, and I was at the university teaching a midterm exam to my students early in the morning, and the sky didn't clear up during that time.
Later I spent the rest of the morning advising a student's thesis and although I stayed at the university until 1 pm the sky was barely clearing and the shadows were very faint, I then decided to go home and only when I left the car in the parking lot did the sky partially clear and there, being in the parking lot I came across this shadow generated by the light that passed through this curious fence.

In a previous post I shared with you my fondness for those shadows that tend to deform with the environment and form particularly interesting geometric figures. That was precisely what caught my attention about this faint shadow formed by the little light that timidly entered from the parking lot, falling on the grille that contained these air conditioners, forming these oblique shadows that crossed each other, forming these very interesting geometric figures. I only regret the poor lighting to capture the shadow with greater contrast, but the little that entered was enough to form this interesting pattern that I share with you.
Well, friends, this was my entry in this Smash contest. Although it wasn't a shadow formed with great contrast, the shapes it generated caught my attention. Then I found out that a heavy rain was about to hit the city, so hoping for a day with bright sunshine was an illusion. Que tal comunidad de Shadow Hunters, bienvenidos a mi entrada al concurso Smash round 379 donde compartimos nuestra pasión por la fotografía, y la búsqueda de perspectivas creativas al momento de capturar una sombra. Decidí esperar al día de ayer para cazar una sombra que compartirles hoy, pero lamentablemente el día amaneció bastante nublado y desde temprano estuve en la Universidad impartiendo un examen parcial a mis estudiantes y en todo ese tiempo el cielo no se despejó.
Posteriormente pasé el resto de la mañana asesorando la tesis de un estudiante y aunque me quedé en la universidad hasta la 1 pm apenas se estaba despejando el cielo y las sombras eran muy tenues, decidí entonces partir a casa y solo cuando dejé el carro en el estacionamiento fue que el cielo se despejó parcialmente y alli, estando en el estacionamiento me encontré con esta sombra generada con la luz que atravesaba esta curiosa reja.

En un post anterior les compartí mi gusto por aquellas sombras que tienen a deformarse con el entorno y formar figuras geométricas particularmente interesantes. Fue precisamente eso lo que me llamó de esta tenue sombra formada por la escasa luz que entraba tímidamente desde el estacionamiento incidiendo en la reja que contenían estos aires acondicionados formando estas sombras oblicuas que se cruzaban entre sí formando estas figuras geométricas tan interesantes, solo lamento la poca iluminación para capturar la sombra con un mayor contraste pero lo poco que entró fue suficiente para formar este interesante patrón que te comparto.
Bien amigos, esta fue mi participación en este concurso Smash, aunque no fue una sombra formada con gran contraste, las formas que generó me llamaron mucho la atención, luego me enteré que una fuerte lluvia estaba por llegar a la ciudad por lo que esperar un día con sol resplandeciente era una ilusión. Nos vemos en un próximo concurso donde espero compartirles más sombras esta vez con mejor iluminación. Saludos.
