Memories Evoked by a Pond somewhere in the South American Neotropics (En/Es).
Greetings ecency and hivers community! Wishing you a happy weekend and a restful rest to start next week with energy, I wanted to share with you this post that I have dedicated to my dear friend @foxkoit who I have had the privilege of meeting at ecency and whose photography posts, the dedication and affection that he puts in the photographs he takes has motivated me to make this post as a response to his publication called I'm sitting by the pond.

Deseándoles un feliz fin de semana y un descanso reparador para comenzar con energía la próxima semana he querido compartir con ustedes este post que he dedicado a mi estimado amigo @foxkoit que he tenido el privilegio de conocer en ecency y cuyos post de fotografía, el esmero y cariño que pone en las fotografías que toma me ha motivado hacer este post como una respuesta a su publicación llamada I'm sitting by the pond.
There are places that inevitably take us back to moments from our childhood or our youth, memories that we cherish with great affection and that are taken from us when we visit certain places. For me this is the case with this pond from the Institute of Zoology and Tropical Ecology.
Hay lugares que inevitablemente nos retrotraen a momentos de nuestra niñez o de nuestra juventud, recuerdos que atesoramos con gran cariño y que nos arrebatan cuando visitamos ciertos lugares. Para mi es el caso con este estanque del Instituto de Zoología y Ecología Tropical.
Visiting this pond brings back memories of when I was still a biology student at the university and I decided to do internships in the area of Ichthyology, specifically in the area of Neotropical fish. This allowed me to learn about the great biodiversity of freshwater fish species in the Neotropics, visit the main rivers and streams where they can be found as well as the techniques to sample them.
Visitar este estanque me trae recuerdos de cuando era aun estudiante de biología en la universidad y decidí hacer pasantías en el área de Ictiología específicamente en el de peces neotropicales esto me permitió conocer la gran biodiversidad de especies de peces de agua dulce en el Neotrópico, visitar los principales ríos y arroyos donde pueden encontrarse así como las técnicas para muestrearlos.
Although I currently work in a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology laboratory, visiting this pond brings me back to those field trips, those forays with a diving suit and the long hours of Taxonomic identification. All those memories come back to me as I take these photos sitting in a pond in the American Neotropics.
Aunque actualmente trabajo en un laboratorio de Bioquímica y Biología Molecular visitar este estanque me trae de vuelta a esas salidas de campo, a esas incursiones con traje de buzo y las largas horas de identificación Taxonómica. Todos esos recuerdos vuelven a mi mientras tomo estas fotos sentado en un estanque del Neotrópico Americano.

Happy to see that I have maid post what can wake up some good ideas and memories 🤗😋, sometimes it doesn't take much to remind something again.
Here are still some ice what I can take pictures of, I hope the sun will be back in the morning and will help me get good pictures.

You are amazing. You have the ability to make a person fall in love with these topics that by far seem uninteresting. I read this type of publications that you do and I am curious about how you decided to prepare yourself in this area. The photos are very nice and the pond is very beautiful. It looks like a nice space to study or share a while.
