Celebrating Mother's Day at Café 55 [Eng/Esp]
Hey, friends of Cinnamon Cup Coffee! Welcome to my post dedicated to a very special day. It turns out that the second Sunday of May is Mother's Day, and I'm blessed to still have my mother with me and be able to shower her with love and thoughtful touches. After making her lunch, toasting with a triple-aged rum, and finishing with a vanilla flan dessert, we decided to go to a place that recently opened near our house. This place is called Cafe 55, and one of the things I loved about it when I saw it: it's located on one of the most hidden corners of downtown Caracas. So, we waited for dusk to arrive to go for a coffee, and as you can see, the sunset was simply gorgeous.

I decided to go with my best friend, who also brought his mother, so we could share the moment and honor our mothers with a good cup of coffee. We also caught up on the past few months. Upon entering, we were greeted by delicacies that looked so delicious and would be worth the price, but we had already enjoyed a delicious dessert before, so we only went for coffee this time.

The atmosphere was quite pleasant, really inviting to go get a coffee there, and the service was equally outstanding. The only problem was that because of the time and day (Sunday afternoon), they weren't making large cups of coffee, but rather small and medium ones. So, my friend ordered a macchiato with a touch of cinnamon, an excellent choice. I usually made macchiatos at home with a touch of cinnamon, and they turned out great. I think I'll do a post about making one at home in a future post. For my part, I was craving something stimulating and delicious, so I ordered a mochaccino in a medium cup. Our honored mothers also liked this idea, so they also ordered a mochaccino.

Another remarkable detail is the cups; they have the coffee logo on them—I've rarely seen this in downtown Caracas coffee shops. They were kind enough to give us a small cookie to accompany the coffee. In short, this coffee was delicious, and from what my friend told me, the macchiato was also very well made.

It's a real surprise to have discovered this coffee shop. My rating for it is a solid 8/10, with the prospect of increasing, since I arrived late and couldn't get access to everything on the menu. Que tal amigos de Cinnamon Cup Coffee! Les doy la bienvenida a mi post dedicado a un día muy especial y es que resulta que el segundo domingo del mes de mayo se celebra el día de la madres y tengo la gracia de tener todavía a mi madre y poder darle amor y detalles lindos con ella. Después de hacerle un almuerzo, brindar con un ron triple añejo y cerrar con un postre de flan de vainilla, decidimos ir a un sitio que recientemente abrió cerca de nuestra casa. Este lugar se llama Café 55 y esto es una de las cosas que me encantó cuando lo vi se encuentra en una de las esquinas más escondidas del centro de Caracas, así que esperamos la llegada del crepúsculo para ir a tomar un café y como pueden ver el atardecer era simplemente genial.

Decidí ir entonces con mi mejor amigo que también llevo a su madre para que compartiéramos el momento y así homenajear a nuestras madres con una buena taza de café y también para ponernos al día ya que teníamos meses sin vernos. Nada más entrar somos recibidos por las delicateces que se veían de un delicioso que valdrían la pena su precio, pero ya habíamos disfrutado de un delicioso postre antes así que solo fuimos a pedir café en esta ocasión.

El ambiente era bastante agradable, realmente provocaba ir a tomar un café en este lugar y la atención fue igualmente destacable. Lo que si es que por la hora y el día (domingo en la tarde) no estaban preparando tazas grandes de café sino pequeñas y medianas. Así, mi amigo pidió un macchiato con un toque de canela, una excelente elección normalmente yo solía preparar macchiatos en casa con un toque de canela y me quedaban geniales, creo que en un futuro post realizaré un post haciendo uno en casa. Por mi parte tenía ganas de algo estimulante y delicioso, así que pedí un mocaccino en taza mediana, esta idea también les gustó a nuestras madres homenajeadas así que también pidieron mocaccino.

Otro detalle bastante destacable son las tazas, tienen el logo del café pocas veces he visto esto en las cafeterías del centro de Caracas, tuvieron el detalle de colocarnos una pequeña galleta para acompañar el café. En resumen, este café estuvo de lujo y por lo que me dijo mi amigo el macciato también estuvo muy bien hecho.
Y bien amigos con esta foto de las madres homenajeadas despido esta especie de conmemoración del día de las madres y reseña de esta acogedora cafetería, es una verdadera sorpresa haber descubierto esta cafetería mi nota para ella es un sólido 8/10 y con perspectivas de aumentar ya que había llegado tarde y no logramos tener acceso a todo lo que ofrecían en el menú, así que es posible que haya una segunda parte de esta maravillosa cafetería.
