A Brief Visit to the Nazarene of San Pablo in Caracas [Eng/Esp]
Hey, friends of Ecency! I've been having serious connection issues, so I haven't been able to write full posts. I've left several posts unfinished, which will have to wait until my connection improves.
However, I didn't want to miss out on something during Holy Week, and just yesterday was the procession of the Nazarene of San Pablo. I wanted to go with my mother, but she's too old for all the hustle and bustle that these religious ceremonies entail. However, we went today when it was quieter and there weren't as many people on the streets, so I took the opportunity to take my camera and capture some moments of our visit to the Basilica of Santa Teresa.
Que tal amigos de Ecency! He tenido fuertes problemas de conexión por lo que no he podido hacer post completos, dejé en el tintero varias publicaciones que tendrán que esperar a que mejore mi conexión.
Sin embargo no quise dejar de hacer algo estos días de Semana Santa y justamente ayer fue la procesión del Nazareno de San pablo quería ir con mi madre pero ya esta muy mayor para todo el ajetreo que significa estas ceremonias religiosas. Sin embargo fuimos el día de hoy que esta más tranquilo y no había tanta gente en las calles, así aproveche para llevar mi cámara y capturar algunos momentos de nuestra visita a la Basílica de Santa teresa.
The majesty of this basilica conveys a true sense of solemnity. There are many basilicas in Caracas, and many of them hold a profound religious significance in our country. One of them is the Basilica of La Candelaria, where the remains of José Gregorio Hernández, about whom I have previously written, rest. Well, I can feel that same feeling here.
La majestuosidad de esta basílica transmite un verdadero sentido de solemnidad, hay muchas basílicas en Caracas y muchas de ellas tienen un profundo significado de fervor religioso en nuestro país uno de ellos es la Basílica de La Candelaria donde reposan los restos de José Gregorio Hernández del que ya había escrito anteriormente, bueno esa misma sensación pedo sentirla aquí.

After appreciating the spaces of the basilica, we contemplated the image of the Nazarene of Saint Paul. As with José Gregorio Hernández, the image of the Nazarene has a huge number of devotees and believers who attend every Wednesday of Holy Week to renew their faith, and many others to pay their promises for favors requested of this invocation of Jesus Christ. Ultimately, this was the reason we didn't attend yesterday because so many people come to visit it.
Después de apreciar los espacios de la basílica contemplamos la imagen del Nazareno de San Pablo, al igual que con José Gregorio Hernández la imagen del Nazareno tiene una enorme cantidad de devotos y creyentes que todos los miércoles de semana santa asisten para renovar su fe y muchos otros para pagar promesas por favores pedidos a esta advocación de Jesucristo. En última instancia fue la razón por la que no asistimos ayer porque es mucha la cantidad de personas que viene a visitarlo.
