Tak jsem se v pondělí ráno neplánovaně ocitl nedaleko městečka Křemže (jižní Čechy). Na výstup na Kleť (nejvyšší kopec v okolí) jsem čas neměl.
So on Monday morning I found myself unplanned near the town of Křemže (South Bohemia). I didn't have time to climb Kleť (the highest hill in the area).
Volba tedy padla na kopec Kluk. Už jsem tam byl někdy před 10-ti lety. Pokud se nepletu, tak to tenkrát byl novoroční výstup.
So I chose Kluk Hill. I had already been there about 10 years ago. If I'm not mistaken, it was a New Year's climb.
Teď je ovšem vrcholící jaro a ranní les je plný zpěvu ptactva a čerstvého, voňavého vzduchu po nočním dešti.
Mech, posílený deštěm, získal zářivou zelenou barvu. Celé to působí uklidňujícím dojmem. Prosvítající sluneční světlo tomu všemu dodává vitální energii.

Nebyl bych to já, abych se cestou neohlížel po kamenech. Tak se mi podařilo najít kameny se zvláštní „kresbou“,
I wouldn't be me if I didn't look back at the stones along the way. So I managed to find a stones with a special "drawing",

Zrovna jsem se blížil k jednomu skalnímu výchozu, když mi nad hlavou přelétl nějaký dravý pták. Kameny byly opět osvětleny sluncem a od skály se ozývalo slabé pištění mláďat. Buď v nějaké dutině stromu nebo mezi kameny bylo ptačí hnízdo.

I když je přístup na vrchol značen červenou turistickou značkou, normální cesta tam nevede. Je třeba opatrně stoupat po kamenech.

… a ruční pumpa? Tak to je opravdu dobrá recese. Vodu si určitě nenačerpáte, stejně tak ani HIVE nebo HBD. Snad pozitivní energii :-). Té je tady však všude kolem dostatek i bez pumpování :-).
… and a hand pump? Well, that's a really good recession. You certainly won't be able to pump water, nor HIVE or HBD. Maybe positive energy :-). But there is plenty of that all around here even without pumping :-).
Stromy jsou tady dost vysoké, takže brání v rozhledu 360°. Pořádný výhled je jen na horu Kleť a západní obzor.

Na přiloženém videu jsem zachytil několik posledních metrů výstupu na Kluk a panoramatický výhled do okolí. Možná také zaregistrujete nápisy vytesané do skály. Nejstarší letopočet, který jsem zde viděl, byl rok 1644.
In the attached video I captured the last few meters of the climb to Kluk and a panoramic view of the surroundings. You may also notice the inscriptions carved into the rock. The oldest date I saw here was 1644.
Pokud se sem někdy vypravíte, počítejte s časem asi dvě hodiny na výstup a sestup včetně kochání se přírodou :-). Jestli máte malé děti, doporučuji zanechat terénní kočárky pod skálou a vzít nahoru děti na zádech nebo v náručí :-).
If you ever go here, count on about two hours for the ascent and descent, including enjoying the nature :-). If you have small children, I recommend leaving the strollers under the rock and taking the children up on your back or in your arms :-).
