The Celebrity Lifestyle!!!
If there is one thing that I’ve come to know about the perks of being a celebrity, it’s the fact that most fans don’t care about you. They only care about how you make them feel. They don’t care about how you’re doing, all they want is for you to keep singing bangers for them. They don’t want to know how your personal life is, all they know is that when they come to your concerts, you give them the best performance. And just as well, they don’t care about your mental health. So when they ask for a picture or an autograph, you better drop everything you’re doing and answer to them.
But then, the same can also be said for these celebrities. Most of them also don’t care about the fans, they only care about what having such a large following can get them. That explains why they would be willing to do and say anything just to remain in their good graces. They’re willing to get controversial just to score a few followers and fans. As long as it would make them richer, they’re willing to do anything and everything for the fans.
It is what it is though. The relationship between celebrities and their fans can be really toxic, and if care is not taken, it can always escalate into something worse. These days, we have people who follow celebrities blindly, and see their actions as gospel, even when what they’re doing is wrong. If their fave assaults someone, they’ll blame the victim. If their fave robs a bank, they find a way to make it the bank’s fault for having so much money in the first place. Hehe… just kidding, but you get the point.
And then, woe betide you to speak ill about them or call them out, then they will simply drag you to the ends of the earth. Fighting tooth and nail for people who are steadily making money every second of every day. Well… I can’t blame the celebrities though. Many of them worked hard to get to the point where they have such a large fanbase, and you can’t blame them when fans begin to act up.
Many times, we’ve seen celebrities get harassed by people who call themselves fans. We’ve heard of them getting killed by so-called fans and getting harassed in pretty violent ways. Celebrities will go to perform in a school, and cultists will scatter the event. The other time, a popular singer was in his car when fans gathered around the vehicle. One thing led to another and the windshield broke. The windshield ooo! You know that the windshield is thicker than the windows, so you can imagine the force required to punch through it. There was no way that was a mistake.
I just can’t get how you can claim to love someone and then you’d not want them to be happy or you’d try to hurt them. There’s even a country with an even worse level of toxicity. There, if you became famous as a single, getting into a relationship could cause significant backlash. Like, because I’m a celebrity I shouldn’t fall in love? That mentality has never made sense to me.
Fans are always known to go too far, but celebrities are no innocents either. Some of them are just plain rude when dealing with their fans. Some will charge you just to give an autograph, or take a picture with them, some will pointedly ignore you. When you talk to people who work in popular hotels, restaurants and stuff, they get to deal with these celebrities on a regular and many of them know how these guys are on a daily. Sadly, not all their actions are worth emulating.
But then, what can we do? The thing is that these guys did a lot to get to where they are, I would never take that from them. I also know that constantly being in the public eye can be exerting, and can lead to such treatments. I don’t really know what goes on in the life of a celebrity, so I can’t make a comment on it. However, I do know that some certain things can be done better. The fans can do better and the celebrities themselves can do better.
I look forward to a less toxic relationship between celebrities and their fans.

Yes, the balancing rely on both parties.
The fans who love the celebrity should have the love at heart and the celebrity also, shouldn't feel like gods and ordering kicks and bundling around
As in ehn... it requires efforts on both sides. Very important!

Thank you for this.
It’s all fake love from the both sides because some fans wanted their favorite celebrities to behave perfectly and they forgot that all these celebrities are also humans too, while celebrities don’t even know there is someone dying for them all in the name of fans.
Well, I don’t dislike any celebrities neither do I have a favorite I can do anything for after ll they are working for their money ni and I am doing the same thing down here.
Omo... I just do my thing. I like the product and I won't stress myself for the creators.
Sometimes I think the celebrities are thinking that they are beyond anyone else. Sometimes they're actually rude. I have seen such in my country. So I could say that these people could do better by changing their behavior and acting more human.
It's normal for celebs to forget that they're humans like us. They need a reminder.
In my eyes, celebrities don't care about their fans unless it's related to fame and finance. So, they try to balance the relationship and in the case of fame they just want celebrity entertain them as long the celebrity can do it they are satisfied. There is no serious relationship between fans and a celebrity in my eyes.
Yeah... just a vicious cycle between both of them. On and on it goes...
True, the relationship between fans and the celebrity can often become toxic. Fans may place unpredicted assumptions on celebrities, expecting them to be perfect or always available. They are humans too, they can feel tired or sometimes they have problems that are going through.
Yeah... it can be hard for fans to remember that their faves are human as well and also have feelings.
