Yeah... that's the thing. Standards are simply the opinions of majority of people. Eventually, the minority opinion will always become majority, and just like that, we keep swinging from school of thought to the other.

That's why you can't ever satisfy society. Because when you do one thing society tells you, another set of people somewhere will tell you that you were wrong. Just frustrating!!
