Pain And Loss!!!

I guess one of the things we forget and don’t really pay much mind to is just how fragile life is. We’re all so full of life and energy, we’re full of our dreams and aspirations because indeed, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. Tomorrow really belongs to us because we just can’t imagine not getting there. We make plans, believing that it will work out and no power on earth would sabotage it.
But then, we forget just how fickle life can be. How much can change in an instant. A family that’s a millionaire today can turn pauper in a single second just because the breadwinner got into a fatal accident. A single misstep can turn into a debilitating condition that will limit mobility for the rest of your life. That’s how fragile life can be, it can change so fast. And before you can even orient yourself with your new reality, you’ve already been left far behind.

This is why, for many, it’s always hard to adjust to the new reality. The new reality of having to live with a disability, the reality of having a dead relative, knowing that they would never say your name or counter your arguments again. Shifting to this new reality takes a lot, indeed, and it’s what gets many stuck in the past, unable to move on from that traumatic experience.
I guess I’m now at that age where people around me are feeling real loss, in one way or the other. It could be from death, accidents, illnesses, relationships, demotions, or even loss of work. And yeah, people react to these things differently. But it can be humbling seeing how a person can be at the top of the food chain one moment, and in the next, they’re struggling to cling to the bottom rung of the ladder.

This is why many times, people who have gone through near-death experiences or those who have had multiple occasions to deal with death, it sort of opens their eyes in a way that the rest of the world is yet to catch up with. Just how much can change in the blink of an eye. All on the whim of people. A walk down the street, and you could be hit by a stray bullet, you won’t even hear the gunshot of the bullet that kills you. You could just have a pissed off colleague who will frame you at your workplace, costing you your job. Or you could have a thief as an employee, who steals from you and wrecks your business.
Nobody asks for these things to happen, but they happen all the same. We can try to protect ourselves from it, prepare our minds for it, but we know we’re only delaying the inevitable. Because soon enough, we’ll also be hit by loss. Still, enduring it would be hard.

So, what am I trying to say here? Life is fickle. While it gives everyone the opportunity to be great, it can also destroy it within the blink of an eye. It’s here on social media that we’ve seen people become famous overnight, and after a few weeks, the fame vanishes. The rest of the world moves on, but the people suffer afterward, especially those who became addicted to those 15 minutes of fame. It’s enough to send some people into depression.
In conclusion, I’m just trying to tell you all to always appreciate what you have, never take for granted the people in your life, or the blessings you enjoy. Because they could be gone by tomorrow. So you don’t get to live with regrets for all the things you could have done when you had the chance.

Life is uncertain and we can't eliminate it doesn't matter how much we try to do so. I think we are lucky because we forget that we can die anytime. If we think about all the time, we may not enjoy the life.

Yeah... we won't enjoy life if we keep living with the idea of death hanging over us every single time.
