New Year Comes For US All!!!

So apparently, this is the last day of the year! The truth is, with all the hype that this comes with in the earlier parts of the ember months, you really expect it to be a sort of big deal. It gives something to look forward to, because in the end, it’s not easy at all. Going through the days and trying to make it through regardless of everything that could have happened to you. So, the end of the year is really made to look like this giant goalpost that we all have to get to.
But then, that’s the thing. We all kind of make it look like, if you’re not careful, you’ll miss out on the New Year. When in fact, whether you’re ready for it or not, the New Year comes for us all. As long as you have breath in your lungs, whether you’re working, sick, lazy, or procrastinating, the New Year comes all the same.

So, it’s not something you prepare for. You don’t have to get all your ducks in a row or make sure all your eggs are in their appropriate baskets before the clock strikes midnight. Because at the end of the day, the transition from 31st December 2025 to 1st January 2026 will be the same as the transition from the 15th of March 2025 to 16th March 2025. The only difference is that the former comes with a lot of noise and shebang, while the former happens so quietly it’s rarely even noticed.
So in the end, there is nothing really special about the end of the year or the start of a new one, because everything you can do when the year is fresh, can also be done when it’s at its midpoint, and even when it’s at the tail end. Which is why keeping things and growth opportunities specifically for the new year will never really make sense, because why not just start when you can? Why wait for the new year to be a better person? Why wait to be a healthier person? Or to get that thing for yourself? Why wait when you can get it now?!

And this is why I say that I don’t see the need for all the hype. Because, as far as I’m concerned, it’s just another day and just another year. At this point, I just wonder if it’s not the major corporations of the world who have incorporated this idea into our cultures, because that is the only way they can get people to spend even more money during the holidays. When they make it such a big deal for people, they make so much money.
Well, all in all, we move on. It’s been an okay 2025, and 2026 will be even better because I started working on it in 2025. Things will definitely be better, one way or the other. All I know is that I’m going to make it work. So, the year 2026 will be an awesome year, full of growth and progress. I guess time will tell!

Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

Hmmm! It comes for everyone just like you have said. I pray that I will make use of every good opportunity I get in the new year.
Thanks for sharing and happy new year
Yeah... we make use of what comes for us. That's how we grow.
Hello @bruno-kema
I love that you questioned the hype and reminded us that we don't need a specific date to start growing. Your thinking seems honest, sensible and motivating. Progress truly begins the moment we decide to do something. May your year be very special and may you achieve all your goals well this year.

That's right. We don't need to wait for new year to start something. I think it can be considered as hype and if it give some extra boost then, it's good but If I want to do something, I should not wait for the new year. I treat every day as the same. My target is to make my day productive and I am going to do it even in the new year day.
Exactly, it's just another day in a long line of days.
