I Spent Good Money!!!

Omo… life is tough, and the prices of everything just keep climbing higher. It’s like no one can stop this madness that’s taking over. Inflation is like a beast, eating up everything that’s in its path. And we can’t help but just adapt. And one of the worst things about this is the fact that, the rate of inflation is not steady, it keeps increasing every day. It doesn’t fluctuate, once it goes up, it only goes higher and never comes down.
You could buy something today at an already exorbitant price, and while you’re still complaining about being charged, you’ll go back the next week and find it to have added more price to it. It’s just so crazy. But then, what can we do? We need these things, and since there are not many options, we have no choice but to buy them like that.

So, what was the most expensive thing I spent money on last year? When I think about it, all I can imagine is the one thing that didn’t go well for me last year, prompting me to make a pretty big decision I had not planned on.
Early last year, within the first quarter, my old laptop suddenly packed up. It basically crashed and refused to come up again. This caught me by surprise because I had only worked on it not too long before. It also destabilized me because I needed to work. However, I didn’t want to fix it at all. If it could spoil almost immediately after fixing it, what was to stop it from spoiling yet again after I fixed it? Nah… I couldn’t do that.

So, I opted to get a new one instead. But seeing how it was an impromptu purchase, I didn’t have enough money. That was during the period that hive price was a bit solid, still wasn’t enough though, even with my power down. And in the end, I was forced to take a loan. However, I didn’t just take the loan for the laptop alone, I did it for a string of other gadgets just to make my work life more seamless.
And so, I bought the laptop, I also got myself a monitor, a laptop stand, a wireless keyboard, and a Bluetooth mouse. I got everything the same day, and the money I had loaned was wiped out completely. But I wasn’t scared at all. Because I knew that as long as I had my work tools, I could always pay back. And that’s exactly what I did. Over the next few months, I paid back the loan in full. And now, everything is fully mine. I’m still enjoying all the gadgets I bought.
Except for the monitor, the screen got cracked, and now I need to change it.

Something I’m planning to do this January. But other than that, it’s been smooth sailing all through for me. I know what I’ve done, thanks to my new laptop, without it, I might not have been bold enough or come this far with Data Analysis, because I know for a fact that my previous laptop couldn’t have handled it.
So, will I make the same decision if I had the chance? Hell yeah! I’ll always make the same decision because I know that one way or the other, it’s definitely going to pay off. I’m sure of that!

Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

Though getting the new laptop cost you a lot of money which it shouldn't have but because of inflation it did, you now get to reap the benefits of your sacrifice. The state of the economy these days is making everything a struggle and it is tiring.
Omo... it is really tiring indeed! We're just trying our best!

Hehe. I knew about the incident. Such a thing indeed cost a good amount of money. I think I would make the same choice if I were you.
