Change Is Hard...
One thing I’ve learned about change is just how scary it can be. When you make moves that would benefit your life, it can be a very daunting task. Change is constant, and it’s never easy. Yet, one can’t fight it. No matter how hard you try, you would only end up on the losing end. It might take a month, or a year. Hell, it might even take a decade. But as sure as the sun sets in the west, you’d lose the battle.
But still, despite the certainty that comes with change, many of us can’t still help but fight it. We don’t know what the changes would hold. At least, we don’t know it for sure. And not knowing is the one thing that drives fear. The fear that every change, no matter how sure we are of our choice, is the certainty that things will be 50/50. They could either go the way we want, or they could go the wrong way. Either way, it’s going one way.
And as a result, when it comes to changes in our lives, you find many people hesitating. They’re scared of leaving the life they know behind and venturing into the unknown because they have no idea what is in store for them. And this premise varies from place to place and it’s effect can be found in just about every sector of our lives.
You’re scared to leave your job because while you could get a better one out there, you could also end up jobless, unable to feed your family. I’ve seen people who are hesitant to leave toxic relationships due to how much they’ve invested in them. The mere idea of starting over from scratch with someone else is daunting. They have no idea if their next foray would work, or if they’d even be able to get someone else. So, they’d rather remain in their unhappy relationship, preferring to chill with the devil they know than the idea of an angel that may not even exist.
Change is scary, and from my perspective, it’s a good thing. If it weren’t, we wouldn’t place such significance on it. That’s why we have to think about it deeply before we venture in that direction. And the truth is, if we really want to grow, we have to be open to change. One doesn’t go without the other, they’re basically both sides of a coin.
We need to learn to embrace change, whether we’re ready for it or not. Whether we’re scared or not. And whether we know what the future holds or not. Because change is inevitable, it holds all the possibilities and eventually, the right kind of change that we’re after, the one that will change our lives for the better. That will be visited upon us.
This post is made to encourage everyone going through one major phase in their life, especially those who are at a juncture where they have to make one major decision that could change everything about them. They have no idea how it would go. I simply urge you all to be optimistic. Change can be good, and as long as you make up your mind to use the best of whatever you’ve got, then you’re definitely going to be fine. That can’t be changed.
Change is good.

I know sometimes it's hard to accept the change but nothing good happen if we resist except giving us more trouble. As fast as we accept it, it's good for us.
Yeah... when we resist change, nothing good comes of it, because we only end up making things worse for ourselves. This is something we have to accept.
