THE BRO WEEKLY SHOWCASE | TAKE YOUR PICK!

In this post, we will be giving you some posts curated by @brofi that caught our attention. We are not quantity but quality based humour, weird knowledge, diversity, project updates and we don't mind lengthy posts at all, however, we are looking for more than just words.

You earn the BRO curation by holding bro, the more you have, the more you get. Still, we look out for quality and not shit posts. Holding Bro doesn't guarantee you votes if you do not give quality material. Without further delay, in no particular order, here are some posts that caught our eye over the past week:

Darwin Nunez To Napoli Is Still In Progress by @nonsowrites

image.png

Saudi Arabia clubs are interested in signing Darwin Nunez this summer, but the Uruguayan is only giving priority to Napoli as they are leading the race to sign Darwin Nunez this summer. The negotiation between Darwin Nunez and Napoli on a personal deal is still ongoing as there has not been any green light given by the players' camp to Napoli yet. Napoli are still trying to convince Darwin Nunez of their project, and I am quite sure what is holding up personal terms to be sealed between Darwin Nunez and Napoli will be the salary the player will earn in the contract.

Situations in life by @sayee

image.png

Today, I wanted to share a few poems I wrote earlier. Sometimes, life presents us with moments that make us wonder why some people behave as they do and why certain events occur.
During such situations, it is better to consider the pros and cons before reacting with emotions at their peak. Otherwise, we may often make decisions that we could regret later.

Building Sound rather than noise by @josediccus

The world is a big, yet a small place as well. With over 7 billion people on the planet, the average person may only know 30 to 50 people in their lifetime. I am referring to people with whom they may have interacted directly or indirectly.
Although it varies, some people may know slightly less or more than others. While we are wired to be social animals, we are not meant to spread ourselves too thin; instead, people thrive in social circles where they can share similar identities with others and create something together.

A Day Back To Routine by @macchiata

image.png

The other day, I was visiting my recently newborn nephew. They live a bit far from me and I had to travel to see them. I practically left the house and the cats to be on their own and when I was back, the house was quite a mess 😂
Once I was home, I definitely sought refuge inside the coffee house. I need some matcha in my veins to calm my nerves after a long trip and finding out the house is quite disorderly. Usually, when I am home, the house is a lot more in order but there were many things happening these past 4 days that we piled up laundry too.

Here and there: Fifteen - Wells, Somerset, UK by @galenkp

image.png

We weren't there but for three days however spent an awesome time there, a rather quaint place with lovely architecture, soaking up the history of the once-Roman settlement and the stunning architecture found there as we wandered around; we also took a few side trips out from Wells including towards the town of Minehead and Dunster Castle (a short 72 kilometres away) that sits majestically atop a hill not too far away from the town - that's for another post though.

Book Review: The Alchemist by Paulo Ceolho by @viviehardika

image.png

The Alchemist tells the story of a boy named Santiago, a shepherd in the suburbs of Spain. He likes a girl who is surprised when she finds out he can read. Santiago likes to borrow books and read them while shepherding. One day he went to a dream expert because he kept having the same dream several times. The dream said that he would find a treasure in the city of Egypt. Hearing this, the dream interpreter did not ask for payment, instead asking for some parts if the Treasure really existed. Because of that, Santiago began his journey to hunt for the Treasure. He was hesitant, but a man later convinced him to go. The man was really strange to Santiago, and in the end Santiago called him the alchemist.
