Absolutely agree. Waiting a week for bridges is a major hindrance to unifying Ethereum effectively. Both crypto-native and real-world asset issuers find it difficult to wait several days for asset transfers between chains. Seven-day canonical bridges compel asset issuers to rely on third-party solutions, which is not ideal if Ethereum is to become the global digital asset settlement layer.
