romanticized image of Japanese trains? If I had an Aki bento I wouldn’t even be able to pull it out from my bag. I couldn’t even look at my phone for most of the commute.

Eki-Ben is for business trips on Shinkansen. If you eat them on the normal train someone will take a picture and put you on social media as バカ外人 😝
