I am convinced that honesty is the best antidote against everything that surrounds us. Be it technology, art, entertainment, literature, everyday life, etc. What is at stake is our personality, our reputation. And to some good place it will always lead us, this is the company we know.
We are looking at ourselves 24 hours a day. Making an esaustive evaluation of our behavior towards our fellow man, towards the environment and everything around us.
If we are really clear in reaching the goal as best we can, that is to say to achieve a good death. Then it is better that honesty adorns everything we do on a daily basis.
For wholesome spiritual, material and intellectual health.

Certainly what you say is true. Sadly, many people do not operate according to the same principles. There are many with nefarious intentions.
As for the selfie culture, you are correct. It is absurd how self obsessed many have become. Their entire existence revolves around likes and clicks.
