RE: You can have more than two grills

I like your smokey mountain upright smoker. I have been thinking about getting one of those for a while. I'd love to have a couple more kettles for when I have a bigger cook I need to do. There are whole groups committed to finding ones that people put at the curb or sell really cheap on Facebook marketplace.

I purchased all of these brand new, except for one. I started with one in 2005, then I acquired another, and I continued from there. My grills and smokers serve a variety of purposes, and I believe that ten is more than sufficient. I do not need any more, @bozz . !LOL

I'd like to have like two or three I think. My friend has a nice old Weber that he saved from somewhere. It's definitely an older model, but it still works great.

Great idea! For your get-togethers, you need at least three, !LOL

I could probably justify two. For three I would need to find some more friends!

Gosh, if only you were not a 5-hour plane ride away, my sorority sisters and I would be your barbecue-friends!

2,451 miles
The flight distance from New Jersey to California is approximately 2,451 miles. If you have a private jet and can fly in a straight line, the flight time would be around 38 minutes. However, for a commercial airliner, the total flight duration, including take-off and landing, is approximately 5 hours and 24 minutes.

Are you from New Jersey? I don't know why that is stuck in my mind...

Nope, Michigan. Not quite as far as you thought! I always get a bit nervous cooking for large groups of people. My family is pretty forgiving, but cooking for others is stressful!

Practice makes perfect, they say.
What is the largest gathering (number of people) you have had in your house?

Probably twenty to thirty people, but that was during the summer so we were mostly outside on the deck.
