RE: The Slow Rebellion Against Cheap Stuff

I think a lot of it has to do with people not being able to wait for quality. It's what they can afford to buy right now, so while that cheap stuff is more accessible to them, as you said, in the long run it ends up costing them more. I would much rather spend money on something I know is going to last for a long time. Sadly, even those options are becoming less common.
