RE: Every Day Carry

I've honestly never heard of one of these posts. Most of the stuff in my pocket is keys. I have two sets that I carry around, my wallet and my leatherman. I'd be thrown in jail if I were over there. I am pretty sure the blade is at least three inches long (pretty standard in the US I think).

That's one of those things that they should warn tourists more about. Plenty of tourists are always getting in trouble for having a knife with them when they visit.
I don't think I would travel with a knife, but if I was just coming from one country over or something it could be a problem.
At least traveling from America, customs will take it if it's on you. But I think a lot of people put one in their checked baggage, then walk around here with it and are surprised when the Japanese police have questions for them.
Ah okay, that makes sense. Yeah, I wouldn't make it very far through customs with my Leatherman.
