I'm kind of the same way. I don't read too much either. I also play games with the sound off, so the speech never hits with me either.

I can go either way. Sometimes, as with Diablo 2 back in the day, I would read everything, really take in the lore. But then others (like Diablo 3) I just skip skip skip and try to get to the action as soon as possible.
Yeah, I totally know what you are talking about. I have been playing Path of Exile 2 and I just skip past most of the stuff I have to read and the dialog. I feel bad about it, but I ain't got time for that!
