Hello Hivers and fellow savers!
Another week rolled by, and this one was humming with activity — and yes, not just from the bees in my texts and images. 🐝
🔧 Hive-Engine Witness: Back from the Dead (and now better than ever)
After what felt like an eternal wrestling match with broken Hive-Engine nodes, I’m happy to report that the @botlord HE witness is fully operational again. Turns out upgrading CPU and disks really does make a difference — who would’ve guessed? 😅
It’s running smoother than ever now, processing blocks like butter.
🌱 Token Growth & Pools
I’ve also continued my slow, steady stroll through the land of pools:
- Added more to DVS:DHEDGE, SWAP.HIVE:PWR, ATX:SWAP.HIVE, and SWAP.HIVE:ATF.
- Need to dive back into @tydynrain’s wisdom to see if my strategy still holds strong.
💾 Code Life
Coding life didn’t sit still either:
- Continued work on https://www.thebbhproject.com — it's now a little less buggy, baby!
- On the roadmap this week: finish the tipping summary posts — still debating daily vs. weekly (feel free to shout your preference).
- And yep, https://hiveearnings.botlord.eu is getting some love again. Soon™: adding support for Layer 2 tokens & switching to the new Hive-Nectar library. Out with Beem, in with Nectar 🍯

You certainly have been productive, and with solid gains in the asset department too, congratulations, my friend! Oh lordy, there's so much still on which to catch you up, including the pools, I don't even know where to start! All the pools that you mentioned are still excellent, so all good there. I had a shift in perspective around diesel/liquidity pools, and after a lot of pool analysis using multiple different metrics, I've been diving into a lot more pools, some of which don't have daily rewards, but where the earned pool fees are great. Some pools are badass in both regards, rewards and fees. Between BeeSwap and Tribaldex, a whole lot of valuable pool information can be analyzed and compared when sorting them by the above-mentioned metrics. We'll talk more in-depth soon! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

That is for sure, brother! I did some calcutions for BXT, which as you know has great daily payouts in HIVE, but for the price for which they're acquired, it would take 7 years for them to pay for themselves! So much to discuss, my friend! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Yup, that’s a bit the ugly part of the BXT ones… I did discover the BXT:SWAP-HIVE pool a few days ago, and they rain BXT on your wallet, which may make it a more interesting thing to acquire and hold BXT from there (instead of buying it all). Not sure though, still need to run some numbers… But for sure the APY of BXT is not that incredible.
So, I was looking more into INCOME next… And what did I learn? That the project had finished just recently…

Indeed, I was shocked when I saw the number! Yes, I've already begun to dive into the SWAP.HIVE:BXT pool, and for the same reason. Even though I haven't reached the payout threshold for the BXT rewards yet, I am earning fees already, so both my SWAP.HIVE and BXT are growing.
Yes, it was sad to see Alex end INCOME, because that project was badass, but he did make sure to put up a buy wall on the market, and to add SWAP.HIVE liquidity to the SWAP.HIVE:INCOME pool, so that people could exit easily. The present price for INCOME is 12.5 SWAP.HIVE, which is a better price than I had when I divested. Make sure to check both the market and the swap price. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

To be honest, I TOTALLY forgot about the Pool fees, so I was only looking at pools that pay out a reward... After reading your post about that, I got thinking, and looked for the BXT pool, gave it a try, and yessir!!! The Lord of the Pools was right! :-D So !YUP, now working some more on the poolside, increasing everything at once as much as possible :-D Also dumped a small part in the BEE:WORKERBEE pool now, hoping to grow those two as well! (I need about 2000 extra Workerbee to boot :-D lol)

You can see the accrued pool fees in the Liquidity Positions tab, in the Swap section of Tribaldex. It can be quite an eye-opener indeed. Excellent, I'm glad that my information was useful for you, that you gave it a try, and that you found it to be a good pool. I'm slowly adding more liquidity to it every day. There really are a lot of great pools, and I'm slowly getting to know them over time. I've been growing my stake in the BEE:WORKERBEE pool too, but still only with WORKERBEE that comes from the pools, so that one in still at a very low level, so no pool fees yet. I want to add a lot of liquidity to that pool, as I also need a lot of both. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Ok, that is an eye-opener indeed!!! The Tribaldex accrued pool fees! That also means that the info is available in the block, and that I should be able to retrieve it ;-) Have copied a whole block to my iphone to gaze at it on the toilet, or during other otherwise wasted timepockets :-D lol
Yup, the BEE:WORKERBEE is a great one as well indeed... I want to grow my WORKERBEE as well, to keep my Hive-engine witness in the top20...
What other uses does BEE have btw? Does it pay out anything?

It sure is, and I scan it often, to see how different pools are performing. Yes, indeed, I think that is probably true about being able to retrieve the information from the block. Haha...well, that's a pretty useful use of your timepockets!
I can't wait to get my liquidity in the BEE:WORKERBEE pool past the pool-fee payout threshold! Yeah, I imagine that you need a lot for your Hive-Engine node, and I know I need a lot so that I can vote for it!
Well, my main uses for BEE are delegating to @bee.voter, and adding to various liquidity pools, especially the CENT:BEE pool. All the CENT pools are excellent indeed. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Yeah, to jump up 1 place in the witnesslist, at this moment, I need an additional 6000WORKERBEE :-D That's a whole lot of BEE or Hive to be spent there :-D lol
