Yes indeed, the histogram can work wonders if you use it! Same thing for the overexposure area warning. Not sure if the Mini 3 Pro has it though :-D But I use it quite often on my big cameras.

I've got the mini se and it works well with its 2.7k sensor. I use the histogram to set up and lock it for consistent exposure during flights.
