I think for me it is kind of the same, I came for the money, stayed for the people. But things are changing indeed… And some of the circle-jerking things do bother me as well. As a result, cause I’m a binnenvetter as well ;-) I try to work against it, by developing, setting up witnesses and so on. Clearly realizing it is a sheer numbers game, and I will never reach whale status any time soon, but well… as a Belgian you are kinda used to work for little or no reward, right? :-D

Ouch that hurts :).
You are doing great with the witness and tools. Keep it up. That for sure will be rewarded at the end.
Maybe we should look at Hive more as a game. In a game there are always

  • cheaters
  • ones who do know the rules better
  • ones who do understand the fundamentals of the game better then we do.

lol! I know that hurts! Especially today I can imagine!
And for sure, seeing it as a game is an incredibly correct way of thinking about it!
And there too I like to think, the ones just playing along the rules and being consistent are the ones that have the most fun in the end!
