End of August 2020: The Height of Covid Craziness

Ah, late August 2020—a time when everything seemed to be turned upside down. We were deep in the heart of Covid craziness, and let's just say the world was really leaning into the "extreme" theme.

The weather? Oh, it was extreme alright. One minute, the sky looked like it was about to unleash a biblical flood, and the next, nature was showing off with breathtaking beauty that made you forget, even if just for a moment, that the world had gone completely haywire.

Speaking of haywire, remember the mask situation? Yeah, that was a thing. Extreme masked faces were the norm, and let’s not forget that everyone’s sense of style (and facial expressions) took a hit behind those fabric barriers. This picture is a solid reminder of the "what the hell is happening?" vibe that was everywhere.

And then there was the food. Oh, the food. When you’re locked in your house for weeks on end, apparently the brain decides to create new… culinary experiments. Bananas on pizza? Sure, why not. 2020 was already weird enough; might as well embrace the chaos on our plates too.

Looking back, it was a time of extremes—extreme weather, extreme beauty, extreme weirdness in public health fashion, and, of course, extreme diets that probably never should’ve existed. But hey, we made it through, and that’s what counts.

I saw the nonsense coming, which is another reason that I just mostly stayed in the jungle, as I couldn't deal with all the stupidity. I can say happily that I never wore a mask through the whole plan/scamdemic. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I can totally imagine !INDEED! We've actually enjoyed the whole lockdown thing, as it made it a little more socially accepted that we didn't get in touch with the world outside :-) In a way, we've prepared ourselves back then for the life in a jungle :-D !LOLZ I can honestly say that it actually hurt me quite bad that the lockdown was over and we had to mingle back in society...

Haha...I've heard that very same thing from several introverts, that they loved having an exuse to close the world out, cocoon, and do their own thing! I'm an introvert too, so I understand. I've also been basically a homebody jungle hermit for over two years now, staying to myself mostly. I haven't had a lot of motivation to go out, so I don't...lol! Hehe...I imagine so, especially regular society with normies! I'd take solitude too! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Holy jumping fuckmuffins are they, and just like you every day I'm blown away by the lack of awareness, ignorance, craziness, and stupidity that just keeps ramping up!
