Trusting God Through the Clouds: Praying Even When You Don’t Feel Him

Sometimes we can skip through life and we may feel like we can't do it or we can't make it. We just wake up and we are ready to face the world. Like we feel somehow energetic. Sometimes we feel like we are wrestling with doubts, with the fear of failure or just a heavy hearted, a sign of not being enough to conquer the world.

But when you pray, the presence of God seems like it is not around you. Like it is a sun hidden behind the clouds. At this moment it is tempting to want to change and give up thinking that nothing is going to work. You don't pray anymore. But remember that God is always there. Sometimes you don't feel it. And praying before and after struggles is how you eventually hold on to the truth.

So come to think of this for a second. Sometimes the sun is not seen. On cloudy days you can never see a sun shining. But does it mean that the sun is not there? No. It is still burning. It is still shining. Always doing its job. And that is how God is. He is always in our lives on a steady basis. And He is always willing to help. Even when our emotions are clouded with negative feelings. He is still there.

And these emotions come and go like the weather. But God is still there and perfecting His work in the life of every believer.

What you're expecting God to do for you and believing in the process. You pray for faith. You have to make this declaration and trust God in everything, even more than your emotions or what you feel at the moment.

Remember, these clouds, they do not last forever. Eventually, one day they will go away and the storm will eventually break through. But remember, God is always there. Even when your feelings are saying the opposite, He will still be there with you. He never fails, so you have to keep praying.

Trust God and see how this faith will shine the clouds when you least expect it. God is always with you and He's got you on this one.
