No Man Has Ever Seen God
No man has ever seen God at any time, understanding the unseen through faith.
In our journey to comprehend the divine, we are confronted with one challenging truth. No man has ever seen God at any time.
John 1 verse 18
This concept can feel mysterious and even unreachable. However, Scripture offers both clarity and inspiration, illustrating how God's unseen presence can be deeply understood, felt, and experienced through faith.
The invisible presence of God
God's essence is beyond what human eyes can see.
In Exodus 33 verse 20, the Lord says to Moses,
You cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.
The sheer magnitude of His glory is beyond our physical ability to behold. Seeing God is not about literal vision but about perceiving Him with the Spirit and understanding that He is always present.
This is like trying to observe the wind. You may not see it with your eyes, but you can see its effect. Leaves moving, flags waving, and trees bending are all evidence of something unseen yet undeniably real.
Glimpses of God through His creation
Though we may not see God directly, His creation acts as a mirror of His character.
Consider the sun. We cannot look directly at it without risking blindness, yet we feel its warmth, see its light, and witness its power as it sustains life on earth.
God, likewise, is visible through what He sees. The beauty of nature, the complexity of life, and the vastness of the universe give us glimpses of His majesty, intelligence, and creativity.
