Making Time For God in a Busy Life.
Making time for God in a busy life.
In today's fast-paced world, finding time for God can feel like a challenge. Work, family, responsibilities, and social obligations pull us in many directions.
But making time for God isn't about squeezing Him into our schedule, it's about making Him the foundation of our lives. Seek first the kingdom of God. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Matthew 6 verse 33. Prioritizing God means placing Him above everything else. Often, we treat prayer and Bible reading as an afterthought. Instead, we should schedule time with God just as we schedule important meetings.
Whether in the morning before work or during a quiet moment in the evening, setting a fixed time helps us remain consistent.
Eliminate distractions.
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46 verse 10.
Distractions are everywhere. Phones, social media, TV, and daily stress. To truly connect with God,
Create a space free from interruptions. This could mean setting your phone aside, finding a quiet place, or even taking a walk in nature. Being still before God allows us to hear
His voice clearly. Make prayer a daily habit. Pray without ceasing. First book of Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 17.
Prayer isn't just for mornings and nights. It's an ongoing conversation with God. You can pray while driving, working, or cooking. A simple thank you, Lord, or help me, Jesus keeps your heart connected to Him.
You can pray while driving, working, or cooking. A simple thank you, Lord, or help me, Jesus keeps your heart connected to Him. When prayer becomes a habit, God remains at the center of your day. Meditate on God's word. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Psalm 119 verse 105. Reading the Bible isn't just about checking off a task. It's about letting God's truth shape our lives. Even if you're busy, start with a verse or a chapter a day. The more you feed your spirit, the more strength and wisdom you gain. Apps, audio Bibles, and devotionals make it easier to engage with God.

The more Worship in everyday moments. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord. Ephesians 5 verse 19. Worship isn't just for Sundays. It's a lifestyle.
Singing a song of praise while driving, listening to worship music while working, or thanking God throughout the day uplifts your spirit. Worship shifts our focus from stress to gratitude. Stay consistent even in hard times.
Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not. Galatians 6 verse 9
Life will get busy, but consistency is key. Even if you miss a day, don't be discouraged. Keep returning to God. His grace is always available.
By scheduling time, removing distractions, and staying connected through prayer, scripture, and worship, we create a life centered on God, even in a busy world.
