THE BLUE DAWN, THE MIDDAY SUN & THE FLUFFY CLOUD AT THE END OF AN ORDINARY SEPTEMBER DAY.

In today's post, I'm about to show you three old photographs taken in 2006. On the 19th of September 2006. Each shot shows one segment of that day.

It started with the blue dawn on the stretch of coastline four or five kilometers from the village of Shishan and about eight kilometers from where I live. The sky was uniformly cloudy, judging by the waves, the average wind was blowing and the overall atmosphere was probably comfortably warm. Not too hot, nor too cold. Kind of ideal, I think.

Later in the morning, the compact layer of clouds started getting thinner, and then, around noon, the texture of the sky above my head was completely different. The sun was visible as a small white disc. The clouds were constantly changing, everything up there seemed dizzily alive. I mean, it looked perfectly normal at first sight, but the longer you stare - the trippier it gets. I don't know where exactly the above photograph was taken. Probably somewhere near the sea.

In the evening the sky was mostly clear. All the clouds were concentrated in a fairly narrow line along the horizon. As the sun was setting down behind me, it illuminated a beautiful fluffy cloud on the opposite side of the horizon. The large stone quarry in the lower right corner of the picture is also beautifully illuminated by the intense evening light that colors the landscape in beautiful shades of orange and yellow. At the end of the summer and in the first weeks of the autumn the sunsets are often spectacular here in my area.

And that's it. I had plenty of things to do today, and I wasn't at home for the most part, so I decided to create a short post about nothing in particular and with only three old unpublished photographs. What else can I say here? Hope you enjoyed the scenery because what's written doesn't look very interesting to me.

It is a small post but it has what it takes to draw the conclusion that life is beautiful despite some human beings who only dedicate themselves to annoying others, sometimes we have people as neighbors who have so much time that they don't know how to take advantage of it.
Excuse me for venting, but I had to.

The sky in the first photo is so serene and peaceful. The third photo is especially stunning, with the colorful sunset and the fluffy cloud.

I love the way you described the clouds in the second photo. They do look dizzyingly alive, and I can see how they would be mesmerizing to stare at.

I also appreciate the way you wrote about the post being about nothing in particular. It's refreshing to see a post that's not trying to be too profound or meaningful. Sometimes, the best posts are the ones that are simply about sharing something beautiful.
