SHADOW OF AN ACTOR IN THE HOT SUMMER NIGHT for the Shadow Hunters/SMASh Contest-Round 272
I caught this shadow on the 14th of August 2014. In the city of Pazin.
I wasn't there for shadows, but I saw quite a few. A small summer festival was going on. The event included concerts, lectures, exhibitions, and a play with four actors in the yard of the medieval castle in the city's historic center.

Today, while preparing this post, I decided to play a bit with the old shadow and Photoshop.

The shadow was moving in a synchronized way with the actor. I caught the thing in more than one pose.
In this inverted version, the shadow became white.

Is it the man who is wearing girl-like clothes? What was the theme of the show? do you remember?
That was the ten minutes introduction to the play. After that various other things happened. He changed more outfits during the play and ended in the typical business suit.
Okay so the play was full of adventure.

It looks very classic, body language combined with chanting words.
Very beautiful and unique shadow photos.
Something about that bigger shadow looming in the background is striking. The power and menace suggested by the size and the unnatural pose of the actor makes for some great art in the performance and the photography.
The inverted version is really interesting , the dude almost look like a sim character jaja
