The photographs presented in today's post were all taken in the period from the 9th to the 19th of May. The year was 2014.

In this opening shot, you can see me walking across the meadow in some place about a couple of kilometers from my hometown. The photograph was taken in the early afternoon.

Here you can see a detail from the department store in Pula. Pula is a city situated about ten kilometers north of the town in which I live, and this department store in the old center of the city was the last of its kind in the area, as far as I know. It closed for good the next year. In the strange old times before the shopping malls on the outskirts of the city, this was a very crowded place. In 2014 ...

... I met less than ten people ...

... and one of those customers was a good friend of mine.

So we got a bit of fun exploring the details in that mostly deserted place.

I mean, she was wandering around like Alice in Wonderland...

... and I was following the action with the camera.

I had only a small, and pretty bad, compact camera, so the photographs aren't very good either ...

... but I'm glad that I took them. That situation in the old department store was never repeated. It happened on the 13th of May 2014, late in the morning.

Two days later, very early in the morning, I took this self-portrait using the bathroom mirror. I don't have this large colorful sombrero anymore. Gave it to a friend a couple of years ago.
In those years, I used to take selfies like this regularly after shaving. Or in the middle of the shaving.

A hedgehog was sniffing around my yard early in the morning on the 10th of May. I'm Always happy to see a hedgehog, so it must have been a great start to the day.

In this tryptich, you can see a friend doing the "Joker face" in the bathroom.

During that period I used to play The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind from time to time. In this shot, you can see me standing somewhere in Vivec City, on a rainy day typical for that southern part of the Vvardenfell district. This isn't a screenshot. I photographed the PC screen with my bad old camera. A screenshot would have been much sharper.

These days I'm playing another game of that Elder Scrolls series. Skyrim. When I complete this post, I'll continue my adventures in the land of magic and monsters. The above picture is a screenshot.

These three photographs were taken during a weekend walk in the camping place near one of the beaches of Medulin, my hometown.

This shot with a slightly mysterious atmosphere was taken in a house on the outskirts of Pula.

The light was low, and the ISO was high, so the pictures are grainy.

Very, very grainy, in some cases.
