My Silent Angel
For a couple of months now, I have had a silent "appreciator" taking notice of my posts...
About a year ago, I was going through a very difficult time on Hive. I experienced a very long dry spell: no matter what I did, I couldn't gain any traction on the site. I would spend an entire week reading a book in order to write a review about it, only to receive 10¢. I would write 1,500 word stories -- nothing. Photography of beautiful scenic landmarks -- nada. Plus, I suppose it didn't help that I had nothing in my Wallet, and a ton of posts were fairly controversial! 😅 That's never been an easy topic to digest...
Regardless, one can't help but to feel discouraged in situations like this, especially when one recognizes the worth of their work. So, I'm grateful that other people finally took notice...
I'm not going to name names, but at the same time, I cannot ignore such wonderful gifts... I want to give a very heartfelt thank you, to my silent appreciator. For months and months, I prayed for my posts to pick up -- and you became my answered prayers 🙏 Regardless of what the future holds, the present must be acknowledged: thank you so much for all of your help. Every contribution is spent on our 3 young children -- thank you! 🙏💛 I pray that YOU will receive many wonderful blessings.

It certainly feels good to get some love on a series of posts! However long it lasts, we appreciate it and learn to be grateful. For about 20 or so posts over time, I got some Appreciator love and that was awesome! It for sure helped as all the Hive goes back into HP for me in one way or another.

Yes, I'm extremely grateful for it 🙏🙇♀️ It had been quite a few posts later and I finally thought to myself, "I gotta see who's been upvoting," and it was the top account every time. Then I clicked on their Wallet and HOLY F🥴K!! Good for them!
