Come for a Walk with Me

Few feelings can be compared to the vitality of the sun, shining bright and proud. With the sunshine beating down upon the city, we packed up our stuff, placed the girls in their wagon, and took off in search of adventure.

A school as old as the city itself sits off to the side, with the football stadium quietly standing behind it

A church of optical illusions?! The wooden panels of this church's exterior gives it a "fuzzy" appearance

There are devoted Canadians here, similar to American patriots. Ever since declaration of the 51st State, some neighbors have been adamantly proclaiming that "Canada is NOT for sale

A beautiful soft pink rose bush, nested beautifully beside a church

There is a growing trend among homeowners: a shortcut of sorts, if you will. Rather than create an entire house out of stone, homeowners will put up a facade. A wall of stone, perhaps a few inches thick, will cover the front of the house, giving the impression that the entire home is made of stone

The pinstripe on this house is marvelous

Daylilies on a neighbor's property. One can find all types of daylilies here, of every kind of colorful combination. This one jumped out at me -- gentle peach with a vivid blood red

The human experience is recognizing that everyone is living their own individual life outside of your own. The welcoming glow of the living room lamps cause my mind to reel: what kind of movie has their life been like?

Beautiful snowball hydrangeas sit out front of this house, a welcome invitation to take a moment and smell the flowers~

Such as this one; another beautiful variety of daylily. The sight of this flower evokes images of a lovely wedding. A beautiful bouquet for the blushing bride to be...

When I was a child, I would try to imagine what it was like to live in a house such as this one. This architecture was the call of the affluent, with their brave stone lion statues sitting out front to guard their treasure

A blue dream... This style is the kind that women imagine a life in, the American Dream in one photo. A quiet neighborhood, a beautiful home, and a peaceful garden to tend to

This vehicle was situated on the street. While I have no idea what it is, I know that it's cool because two men rode by on bikes going, "YooOoOo!!"

Aurora Blue, or Blue Indulgence... Could there be a more decadent name? My first time coming across such a marvelous plant, and it took my breath away. Such fun, delicate petals. I received the impression that they are happy to be bunched together

A Japanese beetle has magically made its way to Canada (kidding; they're an invasive species). Their shiny, holographic shell is incredibly mesmerizing to observe. They have tiny green heads and orange bodies

Thank you so much for checking out today's post. I hope you enjoyed some of the photos, and enjoy this upcoming weekend! 🙏
