The story of a caterpillar and how the state preys on its people
This story began when I went out of the house to go to the coffee shop but decided not to when I met a caterpillar that I saw busy crawling in a flower pot. I thought its speed of crawling beat the speed of all the snails in the world, so I secretly observed it. Referring to its color, I was sure this caterpillar would turn into a beautiful butterfly later. But on the condition that it survives the pecking of caterpillar-eating birds or lizards or whatever other predators make caterpillars their favorite food.
With the lens of my gadget's camera, I observed the behavior of this caterpillar until I concluded that it was in a hurry and busy looking for a way to get to the trunk of the Chinese banyan bonsai growing in the pot. The caterpillar didn't even pay any attention even though I pointed the camera's right at its face several times. It remained busy crawling around the rim of the pot, and even though it had done it for several rounds the caterpillar did not show any signs of despair. Several times the caterpillar tried to stick it feelers into a leaf near the edge of the pot, and it didn't work at all.
I tried to help the caterpillar by bending the leaf so that he could reach it, and the caterpillar did not waste the opportunity. It immediately climbed onto the leaf. Then after looking around for a while as if to make sure that he was really in the place he wanted. The caterpillar rushed to climb the leaf above him again, then followed the branches until it reached the bonsai trunk. It only stopped climbing after finding a larger branch, and right between the base of the branch and the bonsai trunk, it curled up quietly. The caterpillar movement ended here. I waited for two minutes and it did not move at all, except for the strands of it fur that waved in the wind.
The caterpillar had found a place that he felt was suitable, safe, and comfortable for hibernation. That's what I thought. But I still sat watching it who had now become one with the bonsai trunk and then remembered my previous thoughts. What if it was preyed on first before becoming a butterfly? But who would it prey on? A lizard? A bird? So what if this business of preying on prey is related to the actions of us who are faced with the same facts every day?
Haven't we been constantly confronted with news lately about so-and-so preying on so-and-so, so-and-so being preyed on by so-and-so, and so on? It occurred to me, about the government regime that in the last few periods tends to like to prey on the little people. The policy makers collectively design a trap so that their people can be easily preyed upon.
It can be in the form of a trap of laws, regulations, which ends when the people fight back they casually carry out criminalization. The pretext of law enforcement only applies to ordinary criminals, while corrupt officials, murderous police, murderous military, drug cartels, high-class criminals who have been clearly proven to have committed crimes are allowed to straddle the line. Or there are also some of them who even get strategic positions in government. Or even if there are some of those great people who are punished, the punishment given to them is much lighter than the punishment given to an ordinary criminal who is forced to steal to be able to buy food for his wife and children.
At this point, I realized how the law in this country is increasingly distancing itself from its three basic principles. Legal certainty only applies to prey on its people, while the principles of justice and usefulness are simply ignored and from year to year the people seem to be left to live in layers of suffering. It's so sad.

Ceritanya kemarin sore.
Miris sekali.

If there’s one thing that government is good for these days sadly it’s corruption! I wonder when we will be able to make real progress getting rid of it. America is doing that seemingly now but time will tell if it’s legitimate or not.
